Could you help someone discover faith?
This September, Furzedown Churches are launching Alpha—a place where people can ask questions, build friendships and explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
But Alpha doesn't happen on its own.
We're looking for people who can help create a space where every guest feels seen, valued and at home.
Could you serve in one of these ways?
🤝 Welcome guests as they arrive
🍽️ Help prepare a meal
☕ Serve food and drinks
💬 Host or help facilitate a small discussion group
🧽 Join the washing-up team
🪑 Help set up before or pack away afterwards
🙏 Commit to praying for one evening—or the whole course
You don't need to do everything. Even helping for one evening can make a real difference.
Hospitality is one of the simplest and most powerful ways we can share the love of Jesus.
Alpha begins on Wednesday 16th September at 7:30pm at Mitcham Lane Baptist Church, and we'd love volunteers from across the Furzedown Churches to be part of the team.
