LADIES, YOUR HUSBAND IS YOUR MASTER AND NOT YOUR EQUAL” – PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

Most problems in marriages today started when individual men started forming churches and making their wife head of marriage counseling, and their wife started propagating funny doctrines with the support of their husband (the Pastor) claiming that husband and wife are equal.

Husband and wife are equal in the whites’ court marriage were either party can walk away once they are tired by going back to court and get divorce papers. But it is not same with Bible and Quaran.

Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, husband means master. The reason for most problems in Christian marriages is the fact that women refute God’s definition of marriage and form theirs. They believe they are equal partners. If most women had their fathers bold enough to talk to them, they will be very successful in their marriage and they will be very happy people. Most women have never been taught by their parents, their fathers particularly and that’s their biggest problem because they don’t know who a man is, they think he is another woman.
In marriage, you have the man who is the head of that union and because he’s the head of that union, its important to understand him. You think he’s the one that needs to understand his wife and that is where you are wrong. He will eventually but you have to know the type of man you are married to and his needs.When you say you are marrying a man, you are coming under his authority. The Bible says, the man is the head of the woman (1 Corinthians 11:3) so when you marry him you come under his authority, you are not authority sharers even though you are both heirs to the kingdom of God.When you decide not to subject yourself to that authority, you are a rebel and God is not going to accept what you are doing because you are not functioning correctly.

Why did God make the woman?Making woman was not God’s original plan because after God created Adam and before He made Eve, He said in Genesis 1:31 “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good”. God made woman because of man so woman was not His original idea. This is reality.Genesis 2:18a “And the Lord God said “for it is not good for a man to be alone..” The Bible didn’t say “lonely” but “alone”. There is a big difference. Man wasn’t lonely but alone. Genesis 2:18b “…I will make him an help meet”. He didn’t say a partner or a supervisor or a special advisor or someone to tell him what to do.I will make him someone to help him. God gave man a responsibility so woman was made to help man achieve that responsibility.

If this is understood in every home then you won’t have problems.I tell people that you don’t need a marriage seminar, you need the Word Seminar.

Let me tell you, no husband wants another mother, he has had one all his life. He doesn’t want an older sister, he probably had one.Your secret is in obedience, your secret is in listening to your husband, your secret is in doing the things that please him. When you don’t do the things that please him, you take the role of a mother or of an older sister. A man loves the one he serves (God) and the one that serves him (a good wife). He fights the one that wants to be at the same level with him (a rebellious wife).
To be happy in your family and home is the easiest thing in the world, just take your role. Take your place. That place that God gave you is a beautiful place. Its a place of peace. Its a place of love. It’s a place of excellence. Every wise person listens to wise voices (advice) but he listens to a wise voice that is presented wisely. Everyone rebels against the voice that is trying to make a fool out of him. When you want to correct your husband, don’t lord it over him,present it as a wise suggestion. Humble yourself and be smart. A wise woman will always be an influence to her husband, the foolish one will always annoy the husband, make him mad, make him angry and when you make him angry, you will be the victim.

Learn to listen to your husband, practice it, tell yourself that you are going to do it because that is where your beauty is.Once you stop listening, your beauty evaporates. You wonder why you are dressing and he can’t see it, he doesn’t remember your last hair style. Beauty is in obedience. That’s where the Glory is.

THY KINGDOM COME OH – GOD ..

Except for some deep ,hard and difficult to explain mysterious but universally unprovable but accepted theorems which eventually take seat in the mind of individuals, RELIGION and POLITICS share some very odd common traits. Both have the power to create a large group of followership who sincerely adhere to certain doctrines dogmatically not minding how senseless or illogical. The power of sentiment in the two (religion and politics) is so much that the intrinsic value becomes questionable, odd and weird.

Furthermore, during and when it is very necessary to reason to make a life long posterity decision , it is just like creating a competition between REALITY and SENTIMENT . Normally, reality has very few points and very low unattractive voice,whereas sentiment has many unrealistic abstract points and loud and convincingly sweet melody which the populace love to hear.Then at the final hour of decision, SENTIMENT will in most cases beat REALITY hands down...but in a matter of time, sentiments wain off and brings all unforeseen issues to the shore and the facts once projected by reality is highly needed for respite and rescue.

As it was in the beginning, it is now and ever shall be is not a statement to joke with when we consider how people easily forget history,ignore the tenets of their faith, abandon professional ethics just to satisfy their material gains, boost or protect their worn out ego and more to be considered seize any available opportunity to register their hatred to take their innocent enemy to the tower of sacrifice. When the elites gather to bend every iron to remove a prudent king just to install their own stooge then we all need to watch it. Something is wrong and there is a lot to fear and a lot at stake for them and NOT the masses . The Yorubas says : "Inunibini ko kan aimo iwa h" ie Hatred has nothing to do with anyone’s good behaviour to deal blow. Listen to excuses mostly raised by lovers when they want to part,listen to the story of an old acquaintance who is bent to follow a new line or ideology or listen to a hardliner fanatic talk about the sect/faith he/she has followed all his/her life and you ll be wondering if they were mad initially to be so much and deeply involved for such a long time.

The most dastardly , unforgivable ,senseless and heartless part is when these morons start to happily lick their vomits, use the name of God to swear or make invocations contrary to what they have said to the world under oath or sometimes during good times. Its not worth it to listen to anyone vow or back their proof/evidence with the name of God again and seriously its not worth it ! Check the use of Gods name in vain as its now the norm in a nation of believers . SHAMEFUL. No human being is perfect but its good to endeavour to grow positively not existing , rejoicing and supporting iniquity 24/7/ The merciful God is ever quiet but wont join the wicked and forsure is an ever faithful, loyal and for Justice.

A chronic malady in the blood and brain of some people do not allow them to see their own deeds of stealing ,corruption,nepotism and the vices to be wrong . Corruption is not stealing and stealing or embezzling nations fund is not corruption in their own brain and the whole nation did not see the madness in that statement since its the order of the day . Is it not an open secret that most civil servants from local government to presidency (retired/serving) , military/police officers, members of the past executives. Legislators and judicial officers, private and commercial lawyers (low & high ) , the Press, Human Rights Activists ,,Academicians, Profiteer Traders, Servants of God , politicians old and new and ALL those who are multi millionaires and billionaires accumulate those wealth compromising or at the expense of the state ? Do we want to shy away from the fact that all these people enjoy vast privileges while in office and long after and none of the above people who are our friends and family members are never seen as criminals except for those that are not connected to us ? So, for real,should the judgement of God starts in that country – Who and which family can be free ? Do we want it to continue like that forever ? Its worth a big cry of shame if a whole set of good,educated and enlightened people join to write off such important thing s as DIGNITY, INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY in the polity of a nation. Say you know now that thats the direction the wind is blowing now! Those that are in diaspora or travel internationally know the value of holding a Nigerian Passport and how eyebrows and heads are all up just by the mention of that name Nige-----? Isnt that so ?

As it stands, it is obvious that the best candidate may not be allowed to rule that great country called Nigeria just because of some of her self appointed trustees . Here we come again my good people, WHOM DO YOU WANT ? The internationally acclaimed & certified thief to lead and drug barons, heartless greedy prodigal sons at state levels or a meek servant with whom none has been able to stand to call corrupt except for excuses of others (not him though) around him.

Honestly, I am not a fan of Buhari as sometimes I wonder if the gentleman really love himself . What does he really want in life or politics ? Is it by force by fire to rule ? One man against thousands - Nothing like 4man its just a glorified title to one passionate workaholic ! I wonder why he continue to risk his health and life after doing so much or may be a little in his human capacity to serve that nation. I remember seeing him weeping profusely with passion when he once lost a presidential bid. I wish I bring him in line with the history of the late sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo who also had a great love and passion for his Yoruba people and the nation and how he was betrayed and frustrated to the regret of the nation till date . I wish I have a direct access to sit him down and talk the real sense of a popular Yoruba adage from concerned parents to their stubborn and obstinate child ie MA PA MI,MA PA MI reluctantly followed by MA PA ARA RE,MA PA ARA RE, OMO. Ie ( A concerned parent cries every time that a his/her stubborn child should please not kill him with worries and trouble but after a long help and trial,the parent finally concur to shout – You better don’t kill yourself my child ! Leave them if they want Barabbas, leave them to kill themselves.

One day and sometimes, the dawn of reality will rise ignore sentiment and take over to rule the nation Just like it happened in most advanced nations of the world.
In the meantime, we cross our fingers to wish that great country Nigeria well while we continue singing Thy Kingdom Come Oh God !

SHARP & CLARION PERISCOPE TO KICK-START THE YEAR.

As the new year starts, let us give thanks to JAH from WHOM all GRACE & BLESSING flow. Good we are all in high spirit with good intentions and new resolutions . Examine and mark yourself and be determined to improve on good performances and correct (not cover up) mistakes. Let’s endeavour to move above mediocrity to ask ourselves more questions and provide the REAL and HONEST answers ourselves as to why you/me are here, what you/me are living for and the likely result at the ultimate end ! Miracles do happen but most of the time, we reap what we sow.

Look around, check social media and you may have some idea what matters most to some people . Some are engulfed with politics, some gossip and blackmail ,some just criticizing others and finding faults in others not minding their own business / rotten life, some their religion, some their business or passion, some to show off their glamours in food / clothing , beautiful faces and social parties and materials and some regular post on knowledge and words of wisdom ! Coincidentally, preachers and leaders too have mostly abandon any meaningful ideology or principles to show their passion through their sermons and writings . Imagine if we need to compile the bible NOW through today's preachers or should Christ the Master visit our place of worship ?Guess the answers ?

However, don’t forget all that glitter is no gold and most are living in illusion. Gazing over their pages and blaming yourself, your situation or enemies is like administrating mental torture on oneself. Get closer and you ll be shocked what they nurture in their closets! Face life squarely, work and pray, doing your best and leaving the rest and what peoples mouth will say . We all have different purposes in life ! Enough of blaming the world, our nation, state, home, parents, family, friends or families or even enemies & detractors but take time to think deep on this our journey of life and taking full responsibilities. Prayer points, thoughts and dreams of some are all about enemies 24/7 – Major reason for remaining under that negative frequency all the time ? Forget and ignore things and those who hurt you yesterday and yesteryear but remember those who love you always the way you are. LOVE in the heart always radiate a strong positive magnetic aura of positivism, progress and inner peace, fulfillment and joy not only for things achieved but for those coming. Faith, hope and love are not for holier than thou sarcastic grumpy haters dragging through life complain and criticizing but for those who live by faith , hope in faith and love with faith. Reasonable people know its not good to be stagnant and complacent in an ever moving and dynamic world but also running from pillar to post at the expense of ones soul and peace is vanity. Not good to be docile and no point being too serious with this world, no one will live here forever nor leave here alive ! Martin Luther (Jnr) said “Science investigates, religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge which is power,religion gives wisdom which is control”. Both are at our disposal to use with zeal.

No doubt, sometimes , there are circumstances beyond our human control but where we have survived , there are other thousand means and opportunities to meander the valleys of life to work out our salvation and purpose with the little talent given or available to achieving an end that glorifies the good Lord the giver of life. Not every predicament create hindrances, not every disappointment ruin life and not every challenge knock people down permanently –It depends on how each person braze up to utilize the nooks and corners using what is available to rise and shine. But ONLY people who mind their own business and life could see their own weaknesses and strength better and take action for good result.

Charity begins at home they say. Shunning or abandoning our salvation, health , welfare and essential private life matters and all issues by which our life will rest on to chase meaningless and not too beneficial causes and purposes will later reveal that “Everybody's business is nobody's business”. Whatever cause/business/venture that will continue with or without you or me are not enough to blindfold us to the main priorities as to why we are here and those we owe responsibilities. Love your neighbor as THYSELF the scripture says not Love your neighbor more than yourself ! Love yourself please, then children ,family and community. Donating huge sums just for just a clap while children and family suffer is a waste, taking the food meant for children at home to the dogs too is wrong love for animals ! Every sacrifice and investment of time , money and tolerating lost myopic partners to give a solid foundation to the coming generation is worth more than gold. Current vogue is dangerous, support your children and the coming generation please. “Train thy child and he will give you rest” ,says the Holy Bible.

Lets endeavour to help our friends and families and communities to the best of our abilities without expecting any thank you or temporal fame. No point in pursuing happiness in people and things that create more sorrow . How many times you hear sadists moan publicly – “Upon all I did for him/her or them”? . Ungratefulness is not good but we cannot force people to show gratitude ! So when you help, expect no return .

Life is not about race or competition but a journey and stage. Gradually go through it and perform your own part. No point in impressing anybody and everybody when we only go back on bed to weep or wake up to moan over things that matter most but which we abandon just to be with Jones & Joneses ? Blood is thicker than water and those that promise to be there for you and me or for our children all have limits to stretch. Look at the family and children of some church leaders, political leaders, innovators and successful entrepreneurs who did not arrange their priorities well and see all they have been living for continue so well or crumble thereafter and children and family suffer. THINK !

For you reading this, no matter your age now , you need to know you are a step forward in this journey of life which no one can rewind but youve got another chance to come on stage and perform your script for all to see. Ethusela lived so long on earth but with no impact on any soul . So no matter the age rejuvenator applied, make up or plastic surgery , its all a matter of time & the time is going fast. May the good Lord grant us many more years in His Grace. Its time to think deep and priotise our commitments to this world of vanity. Dont forget this soul on which we all live is not our own and the world not our home , so don’t forget : Where from,why here and where to ? Love your life and follow your purpose diligently. Dont take things for granted but appreciate people more than things money can buy Be keen to search for knowledge and truth and be spiritually aware so as not to be fooled around as we have today. . Look at history and then scriptures to take some sense.

Oh yes,while we, our children, grandchildren and loved ones are busy playing or working,angels of God are watching over us ----So please FEAR NOT,FEAR NOT and FEAR NOT. Jah Jehovah Selah is Greater than them all. Many times parents are tired and weary,sometimes far away from home and many times helpless but and surely The good lord has been and is our Shepherd and will forever be. Warn thec dissidents not to commit su***de ; that these children and grandchildren are of the Lords. Chidren of Covenants and Special Anointing – remember Touch Not My Anointed ones ? .

Lets look at some deep sides of this chorus. Angel Watching ? Protecting ? Guiding ?
If humans could come up with CCTV and video cameras /picture recordings what then do you think will be available with Jah Jehovah the Creator of heaven and Earth ? Silly mundane only take pictures and recordings of the good times and when doing good things but cover up them horrible works,but take note that there is a supernatural CCTV that records even thoughts of the heart, secret moves, intentions, actions and inactions ! No wonder King David said Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to Thee oh God”.

Some verses in the scripture are explicit enough but only those with deep understanding will understand when and where to use them. The Golden rule of Do unto others what you want them to do to you - cannot be used when dealing with those who even hate themselves ! Do you want to agree with somebody who hates himself/herself by doing what will harm him/her & could take or forfeit salvation & happiness for life to do unto you the same ? or one that hates his/her , brothers and sisters, lovers, colleagues and even in malice with his/her own child to Do unto you what he/she is doing to himself/herself ?

In 2nd Samuel verse 22 verses 22 &27 gives a good reason why the good Lord seems very far from some people ! They are wicked ate heart yet roams religious places thinking Priests and Religious leaders could wipe their slate clean of their wicked hearts. They pray long hours and fast and fast and fast yet no result. While those simple idiots that knows nothing who are being regularly cheated and used by the ‘smart ones’ and thought to be fools are being blessed daily ! A guy sent me a clip of a young man who worked as a truck driver to sponsor his fiancée to read law. On graduation,the lady now said she does not want to marry a low class truck driver v! Check many stories from US/UK of those nonentities who rode on the swots and pain of their spouses only to begin frustrating the spouse that removed their shame. The next minute they run from place to place seeking refuge from the war they are waging against themselves. Some betray the trust of their community and nation nut donate big thinking that serves as a bribe to God ? For these people the scripture has established in Proverbs 17 verse 13 13If anyone returns evil for good,
evil will not depart from his house.. So whose problem when Ingrates and wickeds continue to battle unreslovable evils ?

There are two statements often combined into one bu many of us ignorantly which is “I AM NOT WISHING ANYBODY ANY BAD THING & NOBODY CAN WISH ME ANY BAD THING”. Please note there are 2 statements here and you can only be sure of 1. This is the fact that you know what you are up to and cannot speak for any other person. Furthermore, it is beyond theory and this modern vogue dramatic clown like Casting & Binding ! It requires simple but complicated Working and Praying. You continue to work for the progress and happiness of humanity – people known and unknown ,where there is something or nothing to gain,where there will be no show offs or thank you or statements like If not for me – you wont get this or that ! Continue to be a fool for God and humanity and check the Lords blessing on you !

In our prayer laboratory, we had some good testimonies. A young lad was scared of his sport competition that he could not sleep and became restless. He told his mother he was not going to take part again. He was brought for prayers and we prayed and prayed until he was up and running to excel in the competition. Not knowing that my own granddaughter in Birmingham was on the Field of athletics competing the same day ! Then one of my own daughters was in labour without me knowing while I was busy praying for other peoples children & family till 1.45 am. By 7am my phone rang of Congratulaions for the arrival of a new grandson. The third was almost the same ALL pointing to the fact that While we were busy on other peoples farm, the good lord was taking care of our own family too.

Why this ? We have told and repeated many stories from the scriptures as weve read & been taught and now confirming in our humble childish way that It is not by might nor power,nor our cleanliness nor faultlessness but by the Grace of recognizing and putting endeavour to serve. It is up to you to work out your own salvation. Whichever doctrine you follow and whichever religious leader you believe in is your cup of tea. However, one guarantee I can give in the name of the Lord is found in Psalm 128 1 Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways! 2You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you...Even if you are still waiting, the good Lords promise and covenant will soon arrive in Jesus name.

As we celebrate the Children’s Day, Our fervent prayer is that : May the good Lord protect, guide and bless ALL our children and grandchildren and generations coming. AMEN.

PRAYER REQUEST FOR ALL OUR CHILDREN.

We hereby submit this SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST to all Parents,Religious Leaders, Community Leaders and Worship Leaders to arrange and OFFER special PRAYERS for all our children wherever they may be.
Mention each child – no matter how old or young by name and authoritatively declare the goodness of the Lord upon them and that they will not know sorrow, gnashing of teeth or anything that will sadden them. I repeat it is not enough to say all my children. ONLY Leaders and Godfathers/Godmothers with plenty of children may bring all children connected to them under this single banner of Jah through Christ.
Example : For me I will say and I pray – “The the good Lord bless ---- OluwatosinOluwasolaAduragbemiAdurayemiAdurasnmiAdurayomi and ALL my spiritual children and those connected to me in the church,family and community and under the Shield of the Most High and hereby pray and decree THAT and keep you ALL, the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” BY HIS GRACE, SORROW IS BANISHED from your life from now henceforth in Jesus name.

Then send special messages to them as a Christian Believer to be
(1) “Be strong and courageous.eg Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
(2) “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29 . and
(3) – “Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you.” 1 Sam. 12:24.

WEEP NOT MY FRIEND –THOSE LOSSES / FAILURES ARE MOSTLY ILLUSION OF HAPPINESS.

Salvation of the soul matters and Posterity is the fare for its journey .Its not free and unfortunately cannot be paid for in cash,card or cheques ! Do you want to go on the journey to learn to pay later or pay now and get a smooth ride ? Questions we were researching and discussing before I left the UK .

He is 75 and by the standard of every mundane, a fairly successful person. Attended the best sets of schools,colleges and universities and went through a brilliant career retiring some years back. He had a good marital life, a very loving wife and two children a medical doctor 47 year old daughter and 45 year civil engineer son. John is widely travelled and materially and spiritually comfortable. He sold his big house to live a modest life and gave more than half of his wealth to charity and said his estate is going for same after he is gone . That’s good but what about your children ? I asked. “No point in passing life illusion over to anybody and is better converted to make life meaningful for those not that lucky” he said ! He lives in a 3 bed house with one very large room filled with books covering almost all subjects one may ever think of. He lost his wife of 48 years few years back and has since resorted to seeking happiness in research studies about life, religions especially the Christian faith . He scarcely uses his computer and laptop which both look very new. He has no mobile phone and does not want one. He is an embodiment of knowledge and a rare Christian breed. He is full of humour and knows more about Nigeria and Ghana than myself.

Initially, I did not like him that much as he often speaks as someone frustrated with and about life. I used to see him as an anti Christ until I saw the reality in his criticism about the dangers of present day Christianity in Africa which he argues is very far from Christ’s doctrines as it is now filled with dogmatism, brainwashing and not fit for purpose evangelism . Ironically, he opined that the Catholic Priests who have no account and material gains are one of the best servants of God .It was my lecture about POSTERITY that drew us together as he took interest in me. I reluctantly started getting close to him and the interest grew by the day to the present state of being a very good friend.

I was shocked to see the records of his participation in building and funding orphanages, water projects and other projects for the development of humanity across the world and he is still working on a few. He passionately decries the amassment of wealth by few individuals at the detriment of the few. The amount of wealth sitting idle all over the world and at every region is enough to make everyone to live well. He often speaks about the illusion of happiness being how much material wealth one may grab despite the fact that with each day, month and year passing they all lead to nothing but death and vanity. He talks of slow development in some parts of the world to be due to erroneous belief that living ostentiously and assuming that the amount of material wealth one has is a signal for being smart and good. He is a good lover of the African continent and its people and partly blame imperialism as one of the main causes of woes that sold illusion to blindfold the continent.

About a year ago he decried the rate at which African people embrace the cultures that are not as good as theirs especially about marriage,family life ,religion and gave examples and pictures of some of his old friends from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya etc who arrived this country intact and with good foundation but broken apart by the illusion of what happiness means to either the husband, wife and sometimes the children . He has always been the best person I ever met in what could be called INSPIRATIONAL TALK especially during serious life crisis. He once gave a speech that has turned a millionaire widow who was a miser to a good philanthropist and an elderly man whose property was repossessed to come out of serious depression without drug or medication.

Before I went on my missionary tour late June last month ,he requested and collected a copy of my lecture/sermon on THE JOY OF SALVATION which he has chosen as one of the best he has ever heard and with the intention of adding some more materials. I called his landline phone several times but no response. On my way from Cheshire to London passed by his simple beautiful home and everything was calm and the breeze was oozy kind of giving me some goose pimples. I pressed the buzzer but no response and as I walked back into my car – trying to recollect that during my last visit old John was writing an Order of Service which he jokingly said will be used for his funeral.
