The funeral of Marshall Dobson took place at St Mary’s church in Acton today. Marshall was transported on trailer pulled by a tractor. Included in the service was a rendition of Going home played on the Huntsman’s Horn

Next Sunday 1st February will see our very own vicar Revd. Anne Lawson installed as honorary Canon of Chester Cathedral. This is a title bestowed upon a priest by the Bishop recognising work done beyond the parish. Revd Anne has been given this honour for her work amongst the rural communities in the diocese. The service will take place at 3pm Evensong in Chester Cathedral and is a public service. Anyone who would like to follow the service on line can do so at
