Today we were blessed with a truly historical, knowledgeable, and deeply touching sermon by Debra on Dominica Secunda Paschae (the Second Sunday after Easter).

Meanwhile, our Sunday School sparked thoughtful conversations as the children shared their own ideas and reflections on what heaven might be like—always inspiring to hear their perspectives.

We were especially touched as a member of our congregation offered heartfelt words of gratitude to Mother Sally, thanking her for the beauty, grace, and faithfulness she brings to every service.

We ended the day gathered together in warmth and fellowship, enjoying one another’s company—a perfect close to a meaningful Sunday.

After the service, the celebration continued with an Easter Egg Hunt led by the children from Sunday School. They happily chased Mother Sally as eggs kept appearing along the way—bringing laughter, fun, and so much joy.

This is St. Mary Magdalene—a place of warmth, happiness, and togetherness. ✨🥚🌸

✨ Easter Sunday – He is Risen! Alleluia! ✨

Today we rejoice in the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ – a message of hope, love, and new life for us all.

We were blessed with a thoughtful and inspiring sermon from our lovely Mother Sally, reminding us of the power of faith and the promise of renewal that Easter brings.

As a church family, we also shared in the renewal of our Baptismal Vows – a special moment to reflect, recommit, and walk forward in faith together.

It was especially wonderful to see our Sunday School children sharing their poems and drawings about Easter, expressing in their own beautiful ways what this special day means to them. 💛

May this Easter fill your hearts with peace, joy, and the promise of new beginnings. 🌿

Today's Poetry & Faith group spoke a lot about nature, spring, Holy Week & Easter, new life, the importance of community, supporting those in need and the gift of patience.
This is one of the poems shared today. By Welsh poet & priest R.S Thomas. Its got us thinking about our connection to the natural world and our connection with God.

Palm Sunday - Part 2

After the Palm Walk, we are so grateful to our congregation, who beautifully dramatised the Passion according to the Gospel of Matthew, bringing the story to life and helping us enter more fully into the meaning of Holy Week. 🌿✨

Palm Sunday - Part 1

Last Sunday, we came together to celebrate Palm Sunday — a beautiful reminder of joy, humility, and hope.

As we reflected on Jesus’ welcome into Jerusalem, with palm branches and praise, we were invited to open our own hearts to His peace and love.

As we continue through Holy Week, may that spirit stay with us — guiding us in faith, reflection, and grace. 🌿✨
