How often have you been caught off guard, and the enemy has taken advantage of that situation to make you fall? If we are not vigilant, the devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

In Ephesians 6:18, we are urged to pray and supplicate for one another in trust, sharing our burdens and making specific requests. This requires having confidence with our brothers and sisters in the church. We are called to pray for one another, whether we like our brother or sister or not, for everyone, without exception.

The church’s most crucial responsibility is evangelization, involving participation in social activities in the community. Although we are set apart from the world to receive blessings from Christ, we must also return to the world to bless others.

If we do not individually respond to God’s call, how can we obey and participate in the call God has for the church as a whole?
Partial attendance at church will not generate a complete impact on the community. Daily challenges should motivate us to want to serve and actively participate in the church.

Gathering with others in the church is not an option but a necessity. Responding to God’s call and His great commission begins with obeying His call.
Let us commit to obeying God by taking His word wherever He is calling us.

The call to love others is not optional; we are called to live in harmony in the nation God is forming. Love for others confirms genuine faith in Jesus Christ.

If God forgave them, chose them, and made the same promises to them as He did to me, showing His grace, mercy, and love, I must reflect the same towards others. It is more comforting to find rest in the effort to love others than in the knowledge that we did not do enough.

Let’s not give up on people; instead of focusing on their weaknesses, let’s focus on the promises God has made to them.

May God help us to stop looking at the weaknesses of others and see more clearly the promises He has for them with love.

Pastor Manis, in his sermon, emphasized the profound significance of Jesus Christ as the ultimate truth and strength for Christians.

Psalm 27:1 declares God as our salvation and strength, while verse 3 illustrates David’s unwavering confidence amid challenges. The truth, while not shielding us from difficulties, assures us of God’s Constant presence. Paul’s declaration in Philippians underscores the importance of finding complete security in Christ.

As we approach 2024, the call is to prioritize God, acknowledging His deep understanding, boundless love, and the daily renewal of joy. Let’s centre our lives around God, deepen our love for Him, maintain communion, overcome obstacles, and recommit our lives and problems to Him.

This year is an opportunity for personal and spiritual growth as we embrace these objectives with faith and dedication.

God has a purpose for your life, no matter how difficult your problem has been or is currently; He will ensure that your purpose is fulfilled.
We need God’s help; without Him, we are nothing and cannot overcome our adversities. Even if we pray and feel that He is not answering our prayers, let’s not despair; He has His timing, and in due course, He will provide a way out. He started the good work in us and He will finish it.
Let’s recognize that God’s grace is greater than the pain we may be experiencing.
Understand that people may not always grasp the mercy God has for us.
Let’s be concerned about what God thinks of us and strive to please Him.
Let’s acknowledge that God’s grace doesn’t always manifest for us to receive favor from others.
Accept that obedience to the grace God has for us can have a significant impact on the people around us
May our God bless this 2024

”But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”“
‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭14‬ ‭

Last Sunday, the sermon highlighted the desire for global peace in the midst of conflicts. It emphasized that external peace cannot provide true and lasting peace. Through Christ’s coming, incarnation, and forgiveness of believers’ past sins, it becomes possible to approach God’s presence and experience the fullness of His salvation. Justification is described as the declaration that believers are free from guilt, fostering a harmonious relationship with God. True peace is discovered in hearts that acknowledge forgiven sins and trust in God’s love.

Joy comes from anticipating Christ’s return, affirming God’s faithfulness and sovereignty. Finding joy in suffering is discussed as it reveals weaknesses and allows dependence on God’s power. Christian peace comes from accepting God’s declaration of righteousness, the cancellation of offended, and the assurance of future glory. The Holy Spirit provides the grace needed for endurance and righteous living.

As a practical application, it encourages individuals to find rest in God’s promises, recognize their worth in Christ, trust in His faithfulness, and embrace the hope that comes with being a Christian. The desire is expressed for hearts to discover peace and contentment in Christ alone.
