The Navigating Trauma programme uses an emotional/spiritual understanding of trauma as a lasting ‘wound of the heart’
It is a Bible-based programme that leads people through trauma towards a place of peace.

Navigating Trauma isn’t a quick fix, and we don’t say it will heal all wounds. But working through the programme with others can help to build resilience and give participants the tools they need to live full and rich lives again.

Hi Friends and Family,

Hope this text finds you well.

It really has been a while since I have contacted you about NCMS.

You may not know but this week is “Carers Week 2022” and I thought this would be a good opportunity to just update you on a few things and do our yearly ask.

We have moved into a new place that really meets our needs for the things we would like to implement with Nancy’s Community Meals Services.

So first I would like to thank the incredible individuals that have been gifting meals – this service has afforded us to help individuals, families and now we have started to support more of our community that are brought to our attention that need help. You are phenomenal – since January 2022 we have served just shy of 100 gift a meals, yes, you have read correctly and this is thanks to so many of you. (So grateful).

We need more help, we all are experiencing the rise in cost of living and this is impacting so many more families and friends that where already on, or near the poverty line. Sometimes it breaks my heart to not be able to respond as I would like to.

To ensure that we are meeting the needs rather than paying out for overheads, I now run NCMS bi-weekly. This was a hard decision but a wise one. This will increase when I am able to obtain funding or sponsorship or take up demands this.

We also now have a wellbeing pot, where we support individuals that are in need of a cooked meal, again this is brought to my attention by members of the family in need or through this great network that keeps me in the loop….If you know someone that could benefit from our service, please email us: [email protected]

We are so pleased to inform you that we are the successful recipients of funding from London Borough of Lewisham to support children on Free School Meals to attend our Holiday Club for FREE.

This is just so brilliant, so we ask you to act as quickly as possible.

Nancy's Community Meals Service, will be providing Hot Meals on each days of the scheme, ensuring that our children are cared for in all aspects, Fun activities, time of learning, hot meals and great staff.

Book now to ensure you don’t miss out. Holiday Club for children 4 – 15 years of age, Monday 2nd – 13th August 2021.
