Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church

Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church Aspiring to be an inclusive, welcoming, & affirming church in the heart of London. 11am Sunday.

A fully inclusive and accessible church in the centre of London, that holds and represents a wide variety of people, opinions, and backgrounds. We are progressive in our theology, reverent in our style of worship, and active when it comes to social justice. Those who find their home here believe there is no one 'right' way, but rather we search together for a deeper understanding of Jesus and what it means for us to follow him.

'Nobody comes to Bloomsbury twice by accident.'

'Even the smallest seed of faith can grow into something powerful. Faith moves mountains, transforms lives, and builds God’s Kingdom. As we sow seeds of compassion during Christian Aid Week, may our faith grow into bold action that brings hope, justice, and healing to the world.' - Kathy Childress

‘Psalm 137 reminds us that even in seasons of sorrow and exile, God never forgets His people. The Creator of heaven and earth remains faithful, keeps every promise, walks with us through difficult times, and fills us with hope. So even in a foreign land, we can still sing the Lord’s song because He is with us.' - Danny Brierley

‘The story of Nabal, David, and Abigail - A powerful reminder of wisdom, humility, and peace in the face of conflict. Abigail’s discernment and courage prevent disaster, showing us the impact of acting wisely and speaking with grace. May God give us the wisdom of Abigail, the courage to do what is right, the humility to listen, and the grace to bring peace where there is conflict and tension.’ — Graham Conway-Deol

"Thomas was real about his doubt—he didn’t fake faith or pretend he understood. Jesus met him right there, in his struggle and questions. By God’s mercy, Christ died and rose for us, turning pain into new life. What began as doubt became a deep confession: “My Lord and my God.” Believe, and embrace the gift of new life and new creation." - Revd Sarah Farrow

Revd Sarah Farrow preaching on John 20.19-31; 1 Peter 1.3-9
