We’re excited to share a new opportunity within The Salvation Army!

Are you passionate about supporting others on their journey of calling and ministry? We are looking for a Candidates Support Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in walking alongside individuals as they explore and respond to God’s call, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support throughout their journey.

✨ If you have a heart for people, strong organisational skills, and a desire to see others flourish in their vocation, we’d love to hear from you.

On Sunday, our annual Candidates Sunday, we concluded our “Called to Be” series, reflecting on the life of Peter 🙏✨

We looked at Acts 2:37–42 and saw how Peter became the leader Jesus called him to be 📖❤️

It was a powerful time to consider how each of us is called to be a leader, and a challenge to reflect on

whether God might be calling us to leadership as an Officer or Territorial Envoy in the UKI territory 👑🙌

What steps might you take to answer that call? 👀✨

Today is Candidates Sunday—the final Sunday in our “Called to Be” series 🙏✨

Throughout this journey, we’ve reflected on what it means to be called, and today we focused on those called to be leaders—particularly as Officers and Territorial Envoys in the UKI territory 📖❤️

It’s been a powerful opportunity to renew our commitment and step out in faith.

We heard from Lieutenant Alice Swain, who shared about her calling to leadership 🎥🙌 Her story encouraged us all to pause and reflect…

What are you waiting for? 👀

On Sunday, we continued our “Called to Be” series, looking at the life of Peter 🙏✨

We reflected on John 21:15–19 and saw how Jesus forgave Peter, giving him a new mission in life 📖❤️

It was a powerful reminder that we, too, are called to forgive others in light of God’s forgiveness. We were challenged to consider what forgiveness might mean for each of us and how it can transform our lives 🌟🙌

This Sunday, we continued our “Called to Be” series, exploring how we are called to be purposeful 🎯✨

We reflected on Matthew 16:13–20, considering the purpose and name Jesus gave to Peter 📖❤️

It was a powerful challenge to think about how we find our purpose in Jesus and how we can step boldly into that calling 👣🙌
