Life pulls in a thousand directions.
Distractions, doubts, busyness, storms—they all try to uproot us.

But here's the reminder we all need:
Stay rooted in Christ.

Stay connected to the One who is life itself.
Draw strength from Him. Let His Word sink deep. Let His presence be your anchor.
When you're rooted in Jesus, storms may rage, but you won't be shaken. Fruit grows. Joy remains. Purpose holds.

John 15:5 — "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit."

Take a moment today: reconnect. Abide. Stay rooted.
What's one way you're staying connected to Him this week?
Share below—we're rooting for each other! 🌱🙌

Neon truth in the night:
We love God, because He first loved us. ❤️

Not because we earned it, not because we're perfect—simply because He chose to love first. That initiating, relentless love from the Father changes everything. It melts fear, fuels gratitude, and spills over so we can love others freely.

In a world that often loves conditionally, His is unconditional. How does knowing He loved you first change how you love today? Drop it in the comments—let's celebrate His love together. 🙏✨

It is with deep sadness that the Doxa Deo family announces the passing of Danie Roodt.

Danie was a cherished husband, father, brother, leader and friend whose life was defined by an authentic devotion to God and a profound love for people. His ministry left an indelible mark on our hearts and the wider community he served so faithfully.

Danie had been navigating significant physical health challenges which, tragically, took an immense toll on his emotional and mental wellbeing. While this loss is devastating and difficult to comprehend, we lean into the grace of God and the promise that He is close to the brokenhearted.

We remember Danie for his devotion to his family, his passionate teaching of the Word, his commitment to the Doxa Deo family, and his infectious, sincere care for every individual he encountered. His legacy within the Kingdom of God remains a testament to his faith.

Our primary focus at this time is to surround Danie’s family with prayer, privacy, and support. We kindly ask that the public and the wider church community join us in upholding them during this period of profound grief.

Details regarding a memorial service to honour his life and legacy will be shared in due course.

Sundays are just a part of who we are as Doxa Deo Community Church, and yet this is one of our most precious places for celebrating the goodness of Jesus on a weekly rhythm. It’s where we get to dive into the astounding beauty of relationship with God, the power of community and in fellowship, and the call to mission in this City!

Last Sunday we had an amazing morning celebrating the Women in our family on Mother’s Day! - there is so much to be grateful for and it was an amazing time to hear Cheray speak about the significance of Mothering - you can catchup on our podcast for that recent episode!

Glory, Compassion, Strength, Calling, Beauty, Love, Contribution; all celebrated in Gods intentions and purposes through womanhood.

Join us at 10am (9.40am for coffee) EVERY Sunday at Tolworth REC!
