END OF LIVE STREAMING From the start of the first lockdown, we began live-streaming Masses as a temporary measure which has continued even as public worship was permitted, for the benefit of those unable to attend in person due to concerns about COVID. The intention was always to continue until the Sunday obligation was restored. Clearly, as was the case before the pandemic, there are a number of people who are unable to attend Mass in person for other health reasons. Given the number of high-quality live-streamed Masses available elsewhere (such as Walsingham, as well as our neighbouring parish of St Peter and St Pauls at http://ssppilford.org.uk/wp2/live-stream-church/) and in line with the decisions taken in other similar parishes, the practice of live streaming Mass each day from St Teresa’s will stop after Pentecost Sunday. However, the option to live stream Mass will still be available for special occasions including funerals.

I am saddened to report the passing of Mgr David Manson the parish priest of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Braintree and a former Vicar General of Bishop Thomas. On a personal level he was very kind to my mother and I whe my father died in 2003.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
