The Almanaar Garden was recently visited by filmmaker Mark Wood as part of the Grow Urban Festival 2026.

Local residents shared how the garden has improved wellbeing, strengthened community connections, and brought nature into the heart of the city. 🌿

We’re proud that the Almanaar Garden is being considered as a featured site for the festival and London’s Green Future initiative, recognising its role in creating a greener, healthier, and more connected community.

🍰🌿 Today’s Jumuah Pop-Up brought a lovely atmosphere to Almanaar, with Brother Hassan’s cute crafted desserts that were very hard to resist.

It was wonderful to see people gathering after Jumuah, enjoying the treats and supporting a good cause at the same time. A percentage of the proceeds from today’s sales will be donated to Almanaar, helping to support the community and its activities.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by. Moments like these remind us how small acts of support can make a meaningful difference. We hope everyone has been enjoying our Jumuah Pop-Ups so far and the opportunity they provide to showcase local businesses and community talent.

This Friday Jumua’ah Prayer led by:

1st Jamaat - Sheikh Mohammed Mahmoud (English and Arabic)
2nd Jamaat - Sheikh Ahmed Abu Mu’ath (English and Arabic)

1st Jamaat will begin at 13:15
2nd Jamaat will begin at 14:00

The Khutbah will be delivered in both Arabic and English to benefit all of the congregation Inshallah Mosque doors will be open from 11:00.
