Our mosque is more than a place where we come together for the five daily prayers and Jumu’ah. Every week, its doors welcome children learning the Qur’an, young people finding friendship and guidance, families seeking advice and support, new Muslims, elderly members of our community, and people simply looking for a place to pray and reconnect with Allah.

Keeping a busy mosque running throughout the year comes with significant everyday costs.

Based on our recent bills, electricity, gas and water cost us approximately £3,158 every month, which is around £38,000 a year.

These utilities help provide the basics that we often take for granted: lighting the prayer halls, heating the mosque during the colder months, providing hot water for wudu and keeping the facilities running for the thousands of people who use the mosque.

We are inviting our community and supporters to contribute towards these essential costs.

Whether you give £10, £50, £100 or more, every contribution helps support a space in which salah is established, Qur’an is taught, families are supported and our community comes together.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are small.”
(Bukhari and Muslim)

Consider making a regular contribution and encouraging your family and friends to take part.

May Allah accept your sadaqah, place barakah in your wealth and reward you for supporting His house and the people who benefit from it.

Donate today and share the campaign with others!

On Wednesday 12th August, we were delighted to be invited to Kensington Palace to attend the annual Summer Community Celebration 2026.

This year’s celebration was inspired by The Last Princesses of Punjab exhibition, with a special focus on the themes of Sisterhood, Identity, Resistance and Empowerment.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and enjoy a range of activities, including crafts, dancing, music and other community celebrations.

It was a fantastic day of celebration, connection and community, and a wonderful experience for our women to enjoy together.
