An update to the church from Bishop Delroy Powell on COVID-19

This is not the time to panic but a time to pray. Separate fact from fiction and use the facts to inform your prayer in the God who promised in Psalm 91 to protect, keep and cover those who abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Bishop Delroy Powell)

The Sanctuary is still open for service, but you can also join us ONLINE as we broadcast live on our website www.ntatoooting.org.uk and YouTube.

Solemn thanksgiving and praise

Let’s take today to meticulously acknowledge all the Lord has done and will certainly continue to do. He deserves the purity of our attention and affection for what He does so anonymously and yet so profoundly. Selah.

TUESDAY 20TH AUG - DAY 7

Lord, make ours a convention beyond the convention!

Today we want to invest our faith in the four-day convention. Pray for favourable conditions for those planning to attend and a removal of any hindrances and distractions to the Lord’s instructions and blessings. Remember also to ask for an effectual grace and unity over all those involved in its running.

Confess the names of all the speakers, hospitality workers, ushers etc on duty asking for strength, direction and a reward from the Lord. Lord once again we ask you accomplish salvation, deliverance and edification as your people gather in your Holy name!

Ecclesiast 8.4 | 2 Chronic 5.9-14 | 1 Thess 1.3-6 | 1 Chronic 9.26-27 | Luke 10.40-42

Lord, don’t give me prosperity without posterity

Let’s pray today for all of those in our care and those looking up to us - our children (biological and spiritual), young relatives. Ask the Lord to extend His hand of grace by another generation. Request that our children will start their walk with Christ early and be given a headstart in life. Speak directly into their lives your expectations for them.

SATURDAY 17TH AUG - DAY 4

Ruptures of earth, the rapture of heaven

In Bishop Powell’s prologue for the Living Hope conference theme, he first describes a hope for the glorious future and then victorious living in the here and now. Titus 2.12 talks of the appearance of Jesus again as the blessed hope! Above every prayer point and petition we hold, none can compare to seeing and reigning with The Lord in His glory in heaven. He is coming again!
