Considering marriage as a revert?

Marriage can be one of the most exciting and important steps in a Muslim’s life, and for many revert sisters, it can also come with unique questions and considerations.

Join us for two interactive sessions exploring marriage in Islam, including what to consider before marriage and the Islamic marriage process.

Open to revert sisters to learn, ask questions, and benefit from the topics and insights shared.

Today is her first Eid.

She attended every class in the Dhul Hijjah programme over the past three weeks.
She asked all the questions that crossed her mind.
She was surrounded by other revert sisters on the same journey as her.
This Saturday, she will be joining the Eid party prepared for her.

She feels knowledgeable enough to have navigated these blessed days with ease.
She knows she has a safe space to ask questions - big and small.
She feels included, supported, and surrounded by sisterhood.

As she goes to pray Eid salah amongst her sisters and community today, she feels grounded in her faith, supported, and steady.

This is the difference you make by supporting IAP.
This is what your donations help create for revert sisters embracing Islam.

We would like to thank everyone who donated during these first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. Our donation page remains open for anyone who would still like to support our work and the sisters further: launchgood.com/iapdhulhijja

May this blessed day of sacrifice, devotion, and remembrance bring peace to your heart, barakah to your home, and closeness to Allah.

As we reflect on the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim and the beauty of complete trust in Allah on this day of Eid, may we too be granted sincerity, steadfastness, and hearts that submit with love and certainty.

From all of us at IAP New Muslim Circle, Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. 💛

TaqabbalAllahu minna wa minkum. May Allah accept from us and from you.

The Day of Arafah is a day when hearts are open and rewards are multiplied.

It is also a day when many new Muslims are experiencing Islam for the very first time and may have questions or be in doubt.

This is why we started the Dhul Hijjah Programme initiative, where over the past three weeks we covered:
1 - Hajj and Dhul Hijja
2 - The Story of Prophet Abraham
3 - Festivals / Eid

And this Saturday, we are concluding the programme with an Eid party for all IAP attendees.

This is how your donations become part of their journey, and anything you give today on the blessed Day of Arafah becomes ongoing sadaqah in someone’s first steps into Islam.

If you would like to help continue this support while seeking the rewards of this blessed day, please donate here: launchgood.com/iapdhulhijja

Most reverts won’t say this out loud.

But many of them feel like they are “doing Islam wrong” in the beginning.

And not because they lack sincerity.

They are praying alone without correction.
Unsure if their salah is even valid.
Learning from fragments of videos and forums.
Too afraid to ask “basic” questions.

At Islam Awareness Project (IAP), we help support new Muslims through structured learning, guidance, and real, consistent community support.

Every donation you give during these blessed days of Dhul Hijja helps ensure they are not left to figure it out alone, but are met with sisterhood and genuine care from the very beginning and beyond. 💛

Please give today and help us in our mission of supporting revert sisters as they journey on. launchgood.com/iapdhulhijja

You can learn how to pray with ease.

For many new Muslim women, learning how to pray is one of the first and most meaningful steps after shahada, but it can also feel unfamiliar and overwhelming without support.

Our Prayer Workshop offers 1:1 sessions for sisters learning the foundations of salah, with guided prayer mats and volunteers there to support you every step of the way.

This is a calm and welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and build confidence in prayer at your own pace, and it's available every week. 🤍

🗓️ Every Saturday at 4pm

There is a loneliness in being a revert that often goes unseen.

Not the loneliness of being alone in a room…
The loneliness of being the only Muslim in your home, your routines, and your everyday life.
The loneliness of being surrounded by people, but not supported in your faith.
The loneliness of practicing Islam on your own.
The loneliness of not being fully seen or understood.
The loneliness of being different and surrounded by what feels unchanged around you.

And without support, many navigate this in silence.

A revert sister once shared, “The hardest part wasn’t becoming Muslim, it was doing it alone.”

At Islam Awareness Project (IAP), we aim to change that reality. We provide connection, guidance, and sisterhood so revert sisters are not left to navigate Islam in isolation.

And during these blessed days of Dhul Hijja, we ask for your support so no revert walks into Islam, and then into silence. Help us ensure no one accepts Islam alone, and then continues to walk alone.

What if you embraced Islam, and then everything familiar was taken from you?

A revert sister shared that after telling her family, dinner tables became quieter.
No arguments. No shouting. Just distance.

Another said she was asked not to pray in shared spaces, and to “seem normal” because it made others uncomfortable.

And another said that all she began to hear from her family were whispers - quiet conversations that made her feel like she no longer fully belonged in the place she once called home.

Some reverts experience confusion from family.
Some experience resistance.
Some experience rejection.
And some experience a quiet separation from the world they grew up in, and the only family they’ve ever known.

What if you embraced Islam, and then everything familiar was taken from you?

What would make things easier in that moment?
What would help you stay firm?

Often, it is presence.

Someone checking in.
Someone reminding them they are not alone.
Someone helping them hold on when everything feels unfamiliar.

During these blessed days of Dhul Hijja, giving to IAP means helping support reverts who are navigating family challenges.

Be the support they need when everything else feels uncertain. Giving today means providing much-needed support for them: launchgood.com/iapdhulhijja

“How do I tell them I’m Muslim?”

“How do I tell my family?”
“How will my friends react?”
“Will I lose people I love?”

One revert described sitting in her car for nearly an hour before telling her parents she had accepted Islam.

“I kept rehearsing the words,” she said. “I was more afraid of their silence than their anger.”

Another shared, “I was scared they would disown me.”

One sister waited weeks before telling her friends, unsure if she would lose the people closest to her.

For many reverts, the joy of finding Islam is immediately followed by a second journey: how to tell the people they love.

And sometimes, they go through it without guidance, without support, and without anyone to process it with afterwards.

At IAP Women, we provide a safe space for these conversations, so revert sisters do not have to carry them alone. Your support provides reassurance, guidance, and someone to walk beside them through some of the most emotionally difficult moments of their journey.

Support IAP this Dhul Hijja and help revert sisters navigate these vulnerable conversations with care, compassion, and community: launchgood.com/iapdhulhijja

You grew up hearing the adhan.

They’re searching for where or how to pray.

One revert shared that her first prayer was in her bedroom, phone propped up against a pillow, watching a video tutorial on repeat.

Another said, “I was doing it on my own and I was very worried I was making one mistake after another and it wouldn’t be valid.”

“I kept restarting because I was scared I was doing it wrong,” she said.

For new Muslims, the first prayer is not automatic or instinctive. It is learned step by step.

Every prayer becomes a question:
“Did I do it right?”
“Will it still count?”
“Does Allah see me trying?”

Islam Awareness Project (IAP) runs a weekly prayer workshop to support new Muslims in learning how to pray with confidence, clarity, and compassion.

And for every prayer they learn, you share in it. For every sajdah they are guided into, it becomes part of your ongoing reward.

In these blessed days of Dhul Hijja, support IAP New Muslim Circle as we help new Muslims build their connection with salah, one step at a time.

Your donation becomes part of every sujood they are guided into: launchgood.com/iapdhulhijja
