Nigel, Chris and I had a wonderful time at the Elim Leadership Summit 2026 in Harrogate. It was wonderful for me to catch up with long time friends and colleagues and my former Blackburn team, and for Chris and Nigel to get a "taste" of the Pentecostal world. The presence of God was palpable and many experienced miraculous healing during worship and prayer. We'll be sharing more about the last few days this Sunday - together with another prophetically charged message for TGBC.

See you all Sunday! 🔥 🙏 🚀

Easter Sunday Baptisms!! 💦 🔥✝️

What a wonderful day to celebrate Jesus' resurrection! The service was packed with people, vibrant worship, God's presence and a powerful reminder of Jesus' victory over death and sin, as we gathered around Ema, Anel, Erica and Cyd as they sealed their commitment to Jesus through baptism.

We were all blown away and deeply moved by their articulation of their faith and their respective journey with Jesus.

More Lord!

This year's joint Good Friday celebration was a massive success!

Churches from around The Green got together to celebrate and proclaim Jesus - and the fact that we live because he died.

We started off at St. Mary's Church in the heart of Twickenham, with prayer led by Rev. Jeff Hopki Williams. We then set off in a procession that took us to The Green where we all gathered at Twickenham Green Baptist Church for a joint service. Worship was led by Rev. Simon Pastorello and his team, Scripture was ready by Rev. Deacon Nick Reynolds of St James, and the message was brought by Rev Simon Couper of Holy Trinity. The service ended with a joint prayer for blessings over the nation and unity among Churches. We then stayed on for refreshments and hot cross buns.

Around 200 people of all ages gathered for this moment of worship, fellowship, witness and Christian unity.

Whoever said the church was dead...?

Here at TGBC, Mother's Sunday is always an opportunity to celebrate and appreciate motherhood in all it's shapes and forms!

Alongside listening to Naomi preach a timely message on motherhood as a key vehicle to inspire faith in the younger generations, we also heard from Anel and Chrissy about the reward and challenges of raising only girls and only boys respectively.

The kids also has a blast handing out flowers, making glittery arts and crafts for their mom's, and even patting newborn ducklings!

What a great day!

What a privilege to have of as our guest speaker last Sunday!

From time to time, in the spirit of Christian unity and mutual encouragement, our minister Simon swaps pulpit with other ministers who faithfully and courageously lead local uptrending churches. Grantham, his wife Abbie and their team are doing a fabulous job at Church on the Thames (formerly known as Hampton Wick Baptist Church).

Our churches, together with many others, are part of a broader story of spiritual renewal, transformation and development happening right across the Thames Valley and beyond - something well worth celebrating!

If you're in the Hampton Wick area and are looking for a growing and healthy community to support you on your journey of faith, do check them out!

What a brilliant ALL NATIONS SUNDAY we had, as we gathered to celebrate the Christian unity of the 30 nationalities represented at our Church. This year, staff and students of IBTI joined us, making our service even more special. The IBTI is a small but incredibly effective Bible college in W Sussex that has trained and released around 2000 Christian missionaries and ministers to all 7 continents - and all this, completely by faith!

Of course we couldn't celebrate the nations without an international buffet! Unsurprisingly, no leftovers remained.
Massive thanks to all those who made the day possible!

This Sunday, we will gather to celebrate the international diversity among us with an all-nations service!

As in previous years, we encourage everyone to wear their country’s traditional clothing, or bring their nation’s flag. The more extravagant, the better! Let’s fill our hall with colour and joy as we celebrate the God who makes us all one in Jesus!

For that occasion, we will be visited by the new leaders and students of the IBTI (International Bible Training Institute), where I have the privilege to teach and serve on the board of directors. The leaders Davide and Lisa Corsino Lentini will do a presentation of the College’s history and vision and also share God’s word.
Ukrainian students will also share stories of faith in a war-torn country. It’s going to be a truly powerful and moving Sunday! 🔥

During the service we will take a special offering to bless the college as they continue to welcome, train and release ministers and missionaries across the globe.

After the service, we will stay behind for food and fellowship – this time provided by you! We strongly invite everyone to bring their nation’s traditional culinary specialities to share with one another buffet-style. If some of you come from the same country, get together to each prepare something different. Also, please make sure to write down the dish’s name, nation of origin, and a list of ingredients to be displayed on the day.

We take health and safety very seriously and, while we do not want to exclude anyone, if you suffer from any allergies please bring your own food to avoid any accidents 🙇
