This Sunday, we will gather to celebrate the international diversity among us with an all-nations service!
As in previous years, we encourage everyone to wear their country’s traditional clothing, or bring their nation’s flag. The more extravagant, the better! Let’s fill our hall with colour and joy as we celebrate the God who makes us all one in Jesus!
For that occasion, we will be visited by the new leaders and students of the IBTI (International Bible Training Institute), where I have the privilege to teach and serve on the board of directors. The leaders Davide and Lisa Corsino Lentini will do a presentation of the College’s history and vision and also share God’s word.
Ukrainian students will also share stories of faith in a war-torn country. It’s going to be a truly powerful and moving Sunday! 🔥
During the service we will take a special offering to bless the college as they continue to welcome, train and release ministers and missionaries across the globe.
After the service, we will stay behind for food and fellowship – this time provided by you! We strongly invite everyone to bring their nation’s traditional culinary specialities to share with one another buffet-style. If some of you come from the same country, get together to each prepare something different. Also, please make sure to write down the dish’s name, nation of origin, and a list of ingredients to be displayed on the day.
We take health and safety very seriously and, while we do not want to exclude anyone, if you suffer from any allergies please bring your own food to avoid any accidents 🙇
