…It is even more strange that modern minds think the Lord almighty should never use the sword to bring justice. Compare that to the world today where half the world currently supports a war in Eastern Europe, and the other half of the world supports the ‘other’ side. Western Christians primarily stand on one side, and Eastern usually support what we consider ’the enemy’… It all depends on the propaganda thrown our way, and our preconceived opinions, informed from the context we live in.

Only the Lord knows where true fault lies, as only the Lord –Yahweh Almighty– can read the hearts and minds of everyone involved. Our current world rulers and their intentions are not hidden from the LORD. Thankfully. That surely means only He is able to know how to respond, what true justice looks like, and what is deserved. Such an informed being would also know when to grant mercy, and when true repentance has taken place.

Unlike human beings, Yahweh grants mercy. We, on the other hand, tend towards retribution, and even some religious texts today encourage it. Secular minds demand it. Pagan practices sacrifice a victim for it.

That means, next time a ‘difficult’ passage of scripture is read from the Old Testament, and God’s justice leads him to wage war on debauchery , the informed recognise the Judge is well-informed. It makes a whole lot more sense when we grasp that God’s actions –often enacted after he has come down to take a look and to speak directly with a prophet about the situation– arise from the mind of an all-powerful, informed, wise mind…

The Word of God Wants to Dwell with You!

God’s ultimate Word is not a book! He is a real being. A person who wants to know us.
Every day & on New Year’s Day, it’s worth a pause to think about God’s eternal word who comes down to with us.

The thought that God wants to dwell (live) with us, warms my heart. I it will also give you hope. I pray you’ll discover this amazing Lord, who has no wish to remain separated from you anymore. He longs —yes, God has strong emotions towards us— to call you . To forgive you of your shame & wrongdoing. He chooses to remove all guilt & power of evil things that trap us & hurt us & our families. All it takes is for us to turn to him, ask His forgiveness and learn to trust Him. He’ll help with the next steps towards doing just that & living more like Him.

Choose this day.

What is the eternal perfect word of God? The Qur’an? The Bible? The Messiah?

Most people are religious, and know God speaks through prophets and texts… but how wonderful would it be, if God came in person to us? —Better than any letter, message or emissary.

That’s what the Christmas story is all about. In fact, the whole Bible points to this person. He comes to live with us. Starting with the humbling event of God born as a baby.

That startling central act of God changes the course of our destiny the moment we believe it & trust Him with all that we are. More so, when we recognise the reason He chose to take on our humanity —the shameful cross he bore, the death he passed through and then conquered on our behalf.

Once we seek this Conquerer and embrace the forgiveness He offers, we too can embrace eternal life alongside the Living Word of God come down.

So the question we must ask is, “Who is the perfect, eternal word of God?”

~The Kingdom of God has the utmost respect for the sacred human body~

At the very heart of the Bible is a deep mission to treat the human body with utmost respect, as sacred, especially in intimate ways/parts.

Some religions and philsophies think of the human body as unworthy, as unclean, as unspiritual, as opposed to their god.

However, the true and living God of the Bible made us in the very image of God and after meeting with human beings in many ways since the world began, God became a human being. Yes, the Word became flesh and lived among us - as one of us!

Even after He died, He came back to life with an immortal human body - to live with such a body forever and ever.

The Kingdom of God has the utmost respect for the sacred human body.

This is shockingly counter cultural for us in the post sexual revolution - which tried to tear down all sexual taboos and treat "private parts" as "public property".

We have come to have such deep disrespect for human sexuality that our most vile swear words are names for human "private parts". We curse by speaking of sexual intimacy and spew hatred with sacred body parts. THAT is how corrupted and depraved we have become!

Deuteronomy 25:11-12 is a revolutionary statement waking us up to a sacred sense of human sexuality.

There are boundaries - taboos - sacred limits.

Even in a fight those limits and boundaries must never be transgressed.

All is NOT fair in love and war.

We are never to sexually humiliate an enemy - whether they are male or female.

That is a terrible evil that must be cut out like a cancer.
