God is building us up together into a holy temple. We loved meeting today and learning more in our series on health, wellbeing and healing.

The reason God wants to love him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength is not because he’s needy.

It’s because he wants to redeem the entirety of our being through relationship with him.

Today we talked about how an unhealthy soul can actually produce sickness in our body.

TENSION 💪
We kicked off our brand new series on healing, health and well-being by learning about how to hold tension.

To be black and white, extreme and one sided is the easy option. To hold the truth with nuance is what it means to become mature.

Here were the three points 👇

1) ACCEPT INCOMPLETION.
2) ALLOW GOD TO SPEAK
3) ACT ACCORDINGLY

Freedom isn’t about removing all limitations, it’s about self-control.

We create a safe environment for human beings to prosper when we assign the boundaries correctly.

HOLY SPACE
It was so good to be back together as a church in our brand new space in the Docklands.

We are so grateful for God’s provision for this beautiful building for us to be established as a church.

But we haven’t arrived - we are just getting started. Because the church is more than a building, it’s a people.

DO LESS THINGS BUT BETTER ☀️

One of the reasons we gravitate so quickly to activity is because we can easily measure and judge it.

The problem is that God is much more interested in WHO WE ARE.

Of course who we are will eventually define what we do and change our behaviour too.

But it’s important that we understand that God is most interested in your growth than you tick the right boxes.

True religion always flows from a transformed heart ❤️
