Father God,
fill us with your peace and
joy as we celebrate the depth
of your love for us,
and fill us with compassion and love as we consider how we can respond to those in need around us.
Open our ears, our minds and our hearts to hear your voice today and to be guided by you about how we celebrate and share your welcome with our community.

A prayer for Sunday, Father's Day 💙

💒 Everyone is welcome to our Sunday service 10.30am, this Father's Day.

Pray with us today for Father's Day 🙏

Loving God,

On this day of thanksgiving for many and of differing emotions for some, we pray:
For those who are exercise the role of a father – grant them wisdom, patience and strength;
For those who long to be a father but have never had the privilege – grant them love and fulfilment;
For those who have failed in their responsibilities as a father – grant them pardon and peace;
For those who reflect with joy on their experience of a father’s care offered or received – grant them thankful hearts.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
