DATE: MONDAY AUGUST 24TH, 2026.

TOPIC: ALL THINGS WERE MADE FOR HIM.

BIBLE TEXT: COLOSSIANS 1: 16 -17.

GOLDEN VERSE: 'For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities: all things have been created through him and for him" - Col. 1:16.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Ezekiel 1-4.

EXPOSITORY
Rev 4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created." NKJV.

Someone said, when the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable. 'Have you ever stopped to think about the purpose of your life?

Why were you created?

Some years after I started to walk with God, I suddenly started to have a feeling of lack of identity in Christ.

I felt that because things were not going according to the way I wanted, then it must mean that God did not love me like He did others, so I told myself that it was better to take my destiny into my hands and do whatever made me feel good.

The more I tried that, the more debts and pain I incurred, until God helped me again.

God made you for His own purpose, agenda and glory.

Isa 45:1-2 "Thus says the LORD to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held - To subdue nations before him And loose the armor of kings, To open before him the double doors, So that the gates will not be shut: 2 'I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. NKJV

Every human being has an assignment from God, why he was made and God controls all.

Cyrus was a gentile king but God used him as He willed, to subdue nations and bless His people.

You cannot live outside the will and plans and purposes of God, for you were made by Him and for Him.

Apostle Paul tried to live outside God's will but had to surrender when the risen Saviour encountered him on his way to Damascus persecuting God's people.

God had called him from birth to be His own, a witness and minister of the gospel.

Gal 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, 16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, NKJV

Perhaps, you have experienced a loss of identity in Christ, whom God called you to be, your assignment, your purpose; God wants to redirect your course back to Himself if you will surrender unto Him.

When you lack the understanding for your real purpose in life, you live to yourself as Me, Mine and I.

All your talents, skills, and passions were given to you to serve God and bring glory to His Name.

Let God work in you to do His will for His pleasure (Phil 2: 13) as you align your life with His purposes.

PRAYER: Dear God, please realign my life to fit into Your perfect plans, pleasure and purpose in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

"DAILY IN HIS PRESENCE"

DATE: FRIDAY AUGUST 21ST, 2026.

TOPIC: GOD IS GRACIOUS.

BIBLE TEXT: PSALM 145: 8.

GOLDEN VERSE: "The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love" - Psalm 145:8.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 51-52.

EXPOSITORY
To be gracious is to be characterized with generosity, kindness and favour.

God in His graciousness always show compassion and forgiveness to all His creature.

The Christian enjoys God's graciousness by not experiencing God's anger but receives mercy, forgiveness and even blessings instead.

The high priest was to bless the children of Israel pronouncing God's graciousness upon them.

Num 6:25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; NIV

God's Grace means that the believer in Christ Jesus don't have to earn God's love, but that he has received it freely, regardless of his past mistakes or shortcomings.

In fact, it is because of man's imperfections that God's grace is needed in the first place.

Sin made man fall from glory to shame.

Romans 3:23-24, tells us that "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus".

God's Grace is not only something you receive and enjoy alone, but it is something that you are obliged to extend to others.

Once you have understood and appreciated how much God has forgiven you, it should make it easier for you to forgive others and show them the same kind of grace that you have received.

In Ephesians 4:32, the scripture says "be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you".

God's Grace is a beautiful expression of His love for us.

It is a gift that you have received freely, and you don't need any work to earn it.

When Joseph saw his younger brother Benjamin he pronounced a blessing of God's graciousness upon him.

Gen 43:29 As he looked about and saw his brother Benjamin, his own mother's son, he asked, "Is this your youngest brother, the one you told me about?" And he said, "God be gracious to you, my son." NIV

Because you have received God's graciousness, you too is obliged to show generosity, kindness and favour to others.

David the king showed kindness and generosity to Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan for their friendship covenant. (2 Sam 9: 1, 3).

As you go about your day, look out for someone to show him kindness, generosity and favour in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for Your amazing Grace. Thank You for my salvation and sins forgiven. Help me to extend that same grace to others and to show compassion and kindness to someone You have prepared for me in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

"DAILY IN HIS PRESENCE"

DATE: SUNDAY AUGUST 16TH, 2026.

TOPIC: GOD IS JUST.

BIBLE TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 32: 4.

GOLDEN VERSE: "He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he"- Deut. 32:4.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 40-43.

EXPOSITORY:
It is often common to see people wrongly accuse others because they are envious, threatened by the person's growth, or even uncertain about the person, so they cook up a story and spread such around with the motive of destroying the reputation of the person.

One of the important characters of God is His just nature; He knows beyond what is seeing, the motive of the heart, and can separate between what is unfair and what is fair.

God's justice is perfect justice. He is a Righteous Judge. Gen 18:25 Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" NKJV

The people of S***m and Gomorrah got the justice due to them for their sin. Not even 10 righteous people were found in the land and God rained fire to consume them all (Gen 18: 32).

God's Sovereignty is displayed in His justice to mankind. He bears long with the object of His wrath as He did with Pharaoh who would not repent. Rom 9:16-18 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth."18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. NKJV

Make yourself available for God's mercy by coming into His grace of salvation through Jesus Christ, so that you can enjoy God's justice that prevails over judgement. Do not stay outside of God's love, for by His justice, whosoever does not believe in Jesus will face damnation and eternal separation from Him. Believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God and have eternal life. 'John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." NKJV

God's justice is His holiness and He will punish the unrepentant sinner, for the soul that sin shall die (Eze 18: 20).

He balances all things perfectly to punish sin and reward righteousness.

God's justice is perfect, and you can trust in it.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You that You are Just and holy, and will repay each one according. In Your justice show me mercy through Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

TOPIC: RELIANCE ON GOD'S PEACE.

BIBLE TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 4: 7.

GOLDEN VERSE: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" - Philippians 4:7.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 9-11.

EXPOSITORY
Peace is a state of quietness and rest of mind, its a fruit of the Holy Spirit of God.

God gives peace as the quietness of a river. Isa 66:12 For thus says the . LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. NKJV

To have the peace of God, apostle Paul wrote in Phil 4: 6, the steps inlcudes
(1) not to worry
(2) pray about everything
(3) be specific in your request/supplications (4) give thanks), then peace of God will follow.

Phil 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. NKJV

Trust God, delight in Him, ask according to His will with confidence, ask in Jesus name and wait for God to answer.

Keep God's peace within your heart and mind.

Worry is taking your life into your hand, trust God, receive His peace and give thanks.

Let God be your focus and He gives you your needs and wants and peace will follow.

Ps 37:4-5 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass, NKJV God is Jehovah Shalom, He wants to give you His rest and peace as He did for king Solomon, all round rest and peace.

Trust the goodness and mercy of God.

1 Chron 22:9 Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around.

His name shall be Solomon, for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days. NKJV

So, bring your worries, anxieties, needs and wants to God in prayers and give Him thanks in trust that He has answered your requests and enter into His peace.

Do not allow peace stealers to take your peace away; such as unbelief, doubts, fears and anxiety.

A life of competition and comparison with others will rob you of your peace.

Be content and be grateful for all you have now.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the peace that comes from You, Help me to trust in You and keep my mind foctor the peauso that I may experience the peace that You offer. Please, fill me with Your peace today in Jesus Christ Name, Amen.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Song of Solomon 1-4.

EXPOSITORY
God Unconditional love for you is from everlasting to everlasting.

Jer 31:3. The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you. NKJV

All humans have a deep desire to be loved, accepted, and valued, and the truth is that you are not exempted.

You, just like everyone else seek love and acceptance hon vor sources such as your family friends, colleagues, and even strangers.

However, all these sources of love are imperfect, and at some point, they may fail wu Human relationships can be fickle and unpredictable, leaving us feeling hurt, repetent and chappointed because they are human.

There is always a limitation to Auman capacity.

The gost news today's devotional as bringing to you is that, in contrast, God's Ave a unfailing unchanging, limitless and perfect (In 3: 16).

He loves you unconditionally, despite all your flaves and imperfections.

When you place your trust In God, you will experience His unfailing love even more than before, and this will bring you true Jay and peace.

Trusting in God's unfailing love means that you believe that He is always with you, even in the midst of your trials and challenges, and you believe that His love never fails.

You can have confidence that His love will sustain you, and so, you must choose to trust Him to make all things work together for your good.

When you make the decision to trust in God's unfailing love, you will not be easily swayed by the opinions of others or the circumstances around you.

By trusting in God absolutely you will continually enjoy a solid foundation that is rooted in His love, and be able to face any situation with courage and hope-Now is the time to trust God's unfalling love wholeheartedly.

God's love is shown by His concem for every details of your life, His care and blessings and faithfulness to you.

Lam 3:22-23 Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every moming: great is your faithfulness, NIV

You are loved unconditionally by God not because you are perfect, but because that is what God wants for you, to love you as His beloved with extravagant love.

Enjoy His love and demonstrate it to others that you belong to the God of Heaven as His child.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for keeping me alive till today. Help me to love you continuously all of my days in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

TOPIC: CONTINUE TAKING STEP.

BIBLE TEXT: EXODUS 14: 13-15.

GOLDEN VERSE: "Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on" - Exodus 14:15.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Proverbs 15-17.

EXPOSITORY
The Israelites where between the red sea in front and the army of Pharaoh behind them and God through His servant Moses commanded then to move forward.

To 'continue taking step' means to advance in perseverance and not to let anything get in your way, to refuse to be tied down, to make progress and take action, to avoid stopping, parking or turning unless there was a wrong turn which you need to reverse.

There are some important lessons to be learned from the Bible when it comes to success, failure, victory, and defeat.

First of all, don't let success get to your head, just because you've achieved something great, as this doesn't mean you should stop striving for more.

Keep your humility and remember that God always has something else in store for you. Similarly, don't let failure get you down.

Sometimes we give up too easily when we encounter setbacks, but it's important to keep trying and not let failure stop us from achieving our goals.

Just because you've won a battle doesn't mean the war is over.

You need to keep fighting to maintain your position and continue to improve. Don't let defeat or setbacks stop you from pursuing your dreams.

Your destiny is one of victory, and even if you lose some battles along the way, you can still win the war.

So keep pushing forward and don't give up! Make progress every day, no matter how small (Proverbs 4:18).

For example, you could read a chapter of a book, practice a skill, or work towards a goal.

Keep working to improve your skills and develop your potential (2Peter 3:18).

Remember, progress only happens when you take action (Exodus 14:15).

Even small steps can lead to big changes, so keep moving forward and don't let fear or doubt hold you back.

As a wise person once said, "If you can't fly, run. If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl. But by all means, keep moving!"

Your steps are ordered by God as His child so keep moving, even if you fall, God will raise you up, so keep moving forward by the leading of God's Holy Spirit, Ps 37:23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way, 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand. NKJV

PRAYER: Father, the power to forget everything that is behind me, and strain toward what is ahead, bestow it upon my life in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

TOPIC: RISING ABOVE THE NATURAL.

BIBLE TEXT: PSALM 16: 8 -11.

GOLDEN VERSE: "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand" - Psalm 16:11.

BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR Proverbs 8-11.

EXPOSITORY
The Psalmist was certain of God's Presence with him and so was not shaken, he lived in joy and rejoicing, knowing God would keep his body safe and his soul from among the dead.

That God would show him the way of life with joy in God's presence and pleasures forever.

The Presence of God is the secret of quality and enviable living, It is the secret of stability of life, joy and fulfillment in life.

To rise above the natural is to go beyond the ordinary; to do the things that are termed impossible, to break record and set a new standard; to remove the full -stop, to beat expectation and rewrite a higher one.

The moment you yield totally to God, you will begin to rise above the natural limits.

Without this supernatural ability, you will remain a common man and you will always have common results.

Moses the servant of God pleaded with God to go with the children of Israel on the wilderness journey as a show of God's grace and Presence and God in response manifested His Presence in His goodness, glory and compassion (Ex 33: 12-19).

When you experience God's presence you walk becomes supernatural and you work supernatural (Mk 16: 17).

Signs and wonders become your daily walk because of God's presence.

You experience God's joy and rejoicing, with your body kept in safety and assurance that your souls will have no potion in hell.

When you allow God to have His way in your life, you will begin to do what you never thought you were capable of doing, this is why you need to value His Presence in your life.

Without God at work in you, you can do nothing in your own power.

When you yield fully to God, nothing will be able to limit you.

If you can believe in the Word of God, you will experience the glory of God. God dwells in the realms of the supernatural, and as a child of God, you are expected to experience the miraculous at all times.

To sustain His Presence there is a secret place you must dwell as a child of God. Walk in God's in love, joy and praise (Ps. 16:11).

Walk in God's anointing as Jesus did (Acts 10:38).

Walk in the the Spirit of God and boldness that comes from God as the apostles did (Acts 4: 31).

PRAYER: Lord, in this season, let me be the instrument through which you will do great works in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.
