"DAILY IN HIS PRESENCE"

TOPIC: RELIANCE ON GOD'S PEACE.
BIBLE TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 4: 7.
GOLDEN VERSE: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" - Philippians 4:7.
BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Jeremiah 9-11.
EXPOSITORY
Peace is a state of quietness and rest of mind, its a fruit of the Holy Spirit of God.
God gives peace as the quietness of a river. Isa 66:12 For thus says the . LORD: "Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. NKJV
To have the peace of God, apostle Paul wrote in Phil 4: 6, the steps inlcudes
(1) not to worry
(2) pray about everything
(3) be specific in your request/supplications (4) give thanks), then peace of God will follow.
Phil 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. NKJV
Trust God, delight in Him, ask according to His will with confidence, ask in Jesus name and wait for God to answer.
Keep God's peace within your heart and mind.
Worry is taking your life into your hand, trust God, receive His peace and give thanks.
Let God be your focus and He gives you your needs and wants and peace will follow.
Ps 37:4-5 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass, NKJV God is Jehovah Shalom, He wants to give you His rest and peace as He did for king Solomon, all round rest and peace.
Trust the goodness and mercy of God.
1 Chron 22:9 Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around.
His name shall be Solomon, for I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days. NKJV
So, bring your worries, anxieties, needs and wants to God in prayers and give Him thanks in trust that He has answered your requests and enter into His peace.
Do not allow peace stealers to take your peace away; such as unbelief, doubts, fears and anxiety.
A life of competition and comparison with others will rob you of your peace.
Be content and be grateful for all you have now.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the peace that comes from You, Help me to trust in You and keep my mind foctor the peauso that I may experience the peace that You offer. Please, fill me with Your peace today in Jesus Christ Name, Amen.
