_Topic_: *Why God Created Us*
*(The Purpose of Our Creation)*

_Part 1_: The Introduction

_Text_: Eph 2:10
*For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (KJV)*.

Will you be surprised if you give an iPhone 7 to a one-year-old child and this child puts the phone on the floor and steps on it? What if the child puts the phone in a bucket full of water? Will this one too astonish you? I hope the answer is a BIG NO in both scenarios. WHY? This is because the child does not know what a phone is and most importantly, the purpose of a phone. Hence, irrespective of how expensive your iPhone 7 is, it will still remain useless to a child. Similarly, a human being who does not know the purpose for which he was created will make himself useless to his Maker. It is important to know that no manufacturer or producer will make a product without having a purpose in mind. Everything that man has made has a purpose. Man is now God's manufactured product and God has a purpose for making him so.

Man, being the last of God's creation occupies a very crucial role on earth. Just imagine this: God used the first five days of His creation to make a beautiful universe, and on the sixth day He created man to occupy it. God ensured that everything that this awesome creature called MAN would need had been provided for within the first five days of His creation. In addition, because man is unique, God was very specific as to how man should be made. The Bible says, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." The point I am making is that you were not created by God accidentally. Whether you are believer or not, you should know that God has a special and specific purpose for creating you. This will be a powerful series. I hope you foresee it? Don't miss it!!

Gracious Lord, bless You for creating me in Your image and after Your likeness. Please Lord, sanctify and use me for the purpose You created me for in Jesus' name, Amen.

_Topic_: *In The Last Days!*

_Part 21_: The Conclusion

_Text_: 2 Tim 3:1-5

The responses and feedback I have received on the series, _In The Last Days_ have been mind-blowing. I am optimistic that we all agree that these glaring characteristics the Bible has vividly explained have been materialized in our time. In this revealing series, we have learnt that these last days are perilous because our world is full of people who are selfish, boasters and proud, blasphemers, unthankful, unholy, traitors, covetous or money conscious, careless, those who lack self-control and and the rest. The world as we all know today is full of violence. There are serial killings by numerous militant groups across the world. It is good we have identified these characteristics and studied them. But information without transformation is nothing.

What must we do then? What do these characteristics of the last days tell us? Jesus told us what we should do in the parable of The Ten Virgins. He admonished us to be watchful. He said "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh" (Mat 25:13 KJV).
Are you a fake pastor? Repent and sincerely do the work you have been called to do. Are you a corrupt politician? Think twice and return to the Lord for your corrupt money can't save you. Are you a sexual immoral person? Surrender to God and make your body the Lord's temple. Are you a husband snatcher? Come to the Lord and free yourself from this devilish act. The dead do not have this opportunity we have. Let's make ours count. Let's make amends in every area of our lives where we fall short before it becomes too late for us!!!

_Prayer_:
Awesome God, I am thankful to You for this awareness of the last days. Touch every area of my life and help me practise everything I have learnt to the glory of Your Holy Name. Amen.
