A Heartfelt Farewell to Our Beloved Achen and Family ⛪️❤️.
A day filled with mixed emotions as we gathered for the final Holy Communion service led by our dear Rev. Sabi Mathew Achen, alongside Sharon Kochamma and Stephania.
For the past three years, Achen and his family have been a pillar of strength, grace, and spiritual guidance for our congregation in London. While our hearts are heavy to see them go, we look back with immense gratitude for the journey we’ve shared.
Following the service, we held a farewell meeting to celebrate Achen’s dedicated ministry. It was a moving time of reflection as representatives from our various organisations shared their tributes:
The Choir: Performed a beautiful, soul-stirring song dedicated to Achen and family, followed by the presentation of a special gift as a token of their appreciation for their musical and spiritual encouragement. 🎶🎁
The Youth: Thanked Achen for being a mentor and for bringing a vibrant energy to our younger generation. 🌟
Women’s Fellowship: Shared touching stories of Kochamma’s support and their collective spiritual growth. 🌹
Sunday School: Expressed their love for Achen’s guidance in nurturing our children in faith. 🎓
As a gesture of our deep appreciation, the congregation presented Achen, Kochamma, and Stephania with mementos and gifts. While no gift could truly match the impact they’ve had on our lives, these tokens carry the prayers and love of our entire community.
Wishing You the Very Best ✈️
Achen, your presence in London has left an indelible mark on our hearts. We are truly sad to bid you farewell, but we pray that God continues to use you mightily in your next chapter.
May God’s grace follow you Achen, Sharon Kochamma and Stephania wherever you go. You will always have a home and a family here in London
