What a fantastic morning at Breakfast with Bruce Dyer – the Premier League's first £1 million transfer!

Great grub, a brilliant turnout, and some fascinating football stories and anecdotes from Bruce. But the real highlight was hearing his powerful testimony of how the good news of Jesus Christ has transformed his life. It was inspiring, authentic, and full of wisdom, with so many life lessons to take away.

The World Cup quiz was also great fun, with Jon Kuhrt's unforgettable rendition of John Barnes' rap from World in Motion bringing the house down! 🎤⚽

A huge thank you to everyone who came and helped make it such a memorable morning.

Streatham Baptist Church is running its first ever 'Big Summer Community Week' in the first week of the summer holidays.

There will be a donation-based community cafe, kid's clubs for years 1-6, space for young people and FUN for ALL ages.

Every lunch time we are having a BIG TABLE lunch for everyone to come and join on a 'pay what you can' basis.

Every afternoon we'll be running games and football on the Common along with intergenerational games back at SBC. There will also be a prayer zone and space for families to chill out.

We also are running lots of different workshops: including gardening, a bake-off, sort your life out, a pop-up choir and MUCH more. And the week ends with a big 'Streatham's Got Talent' show.
