Meribaal lost his grandfather, his father (King Saul and his son Jonathan) and the use of his feet.
Broken, forgotten, and without hope. Yet David showed him mercy, gave him a seat at the king’s table, and treated him like a son.
That’s the Gospel. Jesus doesn’t wait for us to have it all together. He invites us to His table, welcomes us into His family, and calls us His own.
