Preparations are well underway for Holy Redeemer Day, with High Mass tonight at 7pm!

We’re excited to have a limited number of Nicholas Riddell’s ‘A History of the Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer, Clerkenwell’ available for purchase (£15). This will be available in the Church Hall following Mass.

Next month, we celebrate Holy Redeemer Day on Friday, 17th July!

Our annual parish festival, with High Mass at 7pm and preaching by Fr Damien Mason (), procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. Followed by food and refreshments.

On the Eve (Thursday 16th July), we begin our commemorations with Choral Evensong at 6.30pm. We cannot wait to celebrate with you.

Tomorrow we begin our Novena of prayer for Fr Sam as he prepares for ordination to the Sacred Priesthood on Sunday 28th June!

We would love to see you at Bishop Jonathan’s Priestings on 28th June at 5p m at St Andrew, Holborn, to celebrate this momentous day. (No 5 pm Mass at Holy Redeemer on this day).

On Wednesday 1st July at 7pm, Fr Sam offers his first Solemn Mass in thanksgiving for his ordination.

What a beautiful Sunday we had ☀️ With a baptism at the 11am Mass, to our Parish Summer Social in Spa Fields. Celebrating all that God has been doing in our community over food, games, and fellowship.

We’re so grateful to all those who contribute their time to volunteer. Many thanks to Bill (𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘) for the delicious sausages, and Francesco for the tasty cake.

This Thursday, we celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi! Join us at 7pm for Mass, Procession of the Blessed Sacrament, and Benediction.

A remarkable day to commemorate the constant gift of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Where the bread and wine becomes His most Holy Body and Blood. “Jesus said to the crowd: ‘I am the living bread which has come down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I shall give is my flesh, for the life of the world.’” (John 6:51)

Tomorrow night at 7pm, join us as we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord. Commemorated forty days after Easter Sunday, when Jesus had finished his earthly ministry, and before the Holy Spirit’s descent at Pentecost.
