Upperview Christian Fellowship International was founded by God's calling on the 2nd of November 2003 when the first church service was held in Harare, Zimbabwe, during which the President and Founding Bishop Addy Kasi declared that important things must come first. He meant love, as it is described as the greatest, without which we are nothing (1Cor13). Bishop Addy Kasi reminds that the people se
en coming to church have been to other churches before and it is the missing thing that makes Christians denominationally nomadic. Addy Kasi emphasizes that the word must be simple to understand as it is a basic necessity for spiritual living, and not by coincidence compared to bread in the bible. Upperview members are bred to become love practitioners and testimonies abound in how people, ordinary people, have become beneficiaries of this great love. Upperview Ministries International is vastly blessed in talent and gifting. Bishop Addy Kasi stands not with one leg but with two as his anointed and gifted wife, the lawyer, Prophetess Ivy Kombo-Kasi brings in from her gifting the exuberance of praise and worship. Music is music the Ivy Kombo style as she is known for. The same way she rocks the stadiums, the International Conference Centres and auditoriums worldwide, Ivy Kombo stands undeterred to ensure that the Upperview Family is continuously fed and nourished when it comes to praise and worship. Ivy Kombo has herself stood to uplift families to participate in family quotates and choirs.
