There’s a reason it says in the Lord.

Because most of us have already tried the other way. Pushed through the week on our own, told ourselves we’ve got it, and hit Wednesday running on empty.

The strength was never meant to come from you. It comes from Him — and it doesn’t run out halfway through.

So put it down. Whatever you’ve been holding since Monday. Let Him carry it.

On our special Worship Sunday service, Pastor Tai introduced the concept of Transformative Worship. We spent the majority of the service spending time in deep intimate worship with God before Pastor Tai explored the truth that worship is not only an expression of what God has done but more so it is an encounter with God that transforms who we are.

On Wednesday, Pastor Efe led us through a powerful morning of prayer on “Prayer of Consecration,” building on Sunday’s message about faith, separation and submission to God.

We were reminded that consecration is more than what we receive from God, it is choosing to set ourselves apart for Him. As we separate from the world and submit to His Word, we gain clarity to see, live and move according to His purpose.

This Sunday, Pastor Tai continued our series “The Faith That Governs”, reminding us that a faith that truly governs our lives requires submission, obedience and trust in God.

Faith isn’t just believing God can, it’s surrendering to His will, obeying His Word and trusting Him even when we don’t understand the process.

When we submit to God, obedience becomes our response, and faith becomes the foundation we stand on. 🤍
