Harlesden Ummah Community Centre

Harlesden Ummah Community Centre Community Centre and Mosque based in the heart of Harlesden (Borough of Brent, North West London) This was the beginning of “Harlesden Ummah Community Centre”.

After seeing the need for a Community Centre in the local area of Harlesden, Mr Mustapha Badru was inspired to change his flourishing business premises into a Community Centre for all. He put his faith in God that for the sacrifice he had made that God in turn might provide him with another location for his business. Within a couple of weeks, a neighbouring shop became available for him to rent. C

onsequently Mr Badru was able to continue his business whilst laying the foundations of this much needed mosque and community centre. Mr Badru together with the help of a few enthusiastic and dedicated local residents, began this new community initiative. Since then the mosque and community centre has gradually grown along with a buzzing and high spirited community.
