Harrow Central Mosque & Masood Islamic Centre Established in 1980 at a converted house on Station Road. A new mosque was built and occupied in 2011.

It later expanded to occupy the house next door but was still far too small to service the Muslim community. The mosque was established in 1980 and from 1985 occupied a converted house on Station Road, Harrow. It later expanded to occupy the house next door but in this form it was still far too small to service Harrow’s Muslim community. As a result a new mosque has been built adjacent to the old

mosque and was occupied in December 2011. The vision for the new building project is to provide a purpose-built mosque that will serve the needs of Muslims within Harrow and further afield. Once completed the mosque will not just be a place of worship. It will be an educational centre and community focal point for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Today marks the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal, a day traditionally commemorated as the birth of the greatest of creation, our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — the one whom Allah ﷻ sent as a mercy to all the worlds.

The Dawn of Blessings 🌙

Alhamdulillah, a beautiful gathering at Harrow Central Mosque in honour of the Best of Creation, our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

We gathered in the blessed hours before Fajr to remember the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, send Salawat upon him and reflect upon the mercy Allah sent to all creation through him.

“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.”
— Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:107

May Allah increase our love for His Beloved ﷺ, allow us to follow his beautiful example, and gather us in his blessed company in the Hereafter. Ameen.
