Jazz in the Gardens 2026!

What a joy the last three weeks have been! We have loved meeting more of our neighbours, seeing children playing in the gardens, and witnessing the community connecting with one another through the gift of music.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to make the events safe. Thank you to the Laycock Ward councillors who helped fund them through the Local Initiative Fund, to the Mayor of Islington Councillor Rosaline Ogunro for joining us, and of course to the bands each week - you were all brilliant!

Jazz in the Gardens is back!

Our annual jazz events are free for the whole community. Professional jazz bands will play on three consecutive Friday evenings and you are so welcome!

Bring yourself, your friends and a picnic, and join us on Friday 26th June, 3rd July or 10th July.

Water and toilets will be available in the church all evening.

On Easter Saturday Join us in St Mary Magdalene Church Gardens anytime between 1pm - 4pm for an Easter fun day. The event will include our annual trail, a bouncy castle and more.

Refreshments can be purchased and we will have a raffle for Chocolate Hamper too!
