hopechurchuk.org Hope Church was founded as Orpington Town Church in 1990. Jesus has revolutionised our lives by his life, death and resurrection.

In 2008 we launched a second congregation on Bromley Common and changed our name to Hope Church. We now have three more sites in the local area, in West Wickham, Downham and Chislehurst. We are a church made up of all ages and different ethnicities, coming from all over the borough. We therefore, aim to pass on this blessing, by serving our communities, wherever we find ourselves. As a church, we

base all of what we do from the Bible. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to change lives, give gifts and empower us to live new lives for Jesus.

FORWARD TOGETHER! What a special day together as a church family ❤️

From worship, prayer and commissioning, to food, a silent disco and celebrating all God has done through Tony & Tina over the last 20+ years - this was truly a landmark moment in the life of Hope.

We’re so grateful for all they have poured into this church family through their faith, sacrifice, courage, care and leadership. As we send them to Emmanuel Church in Durham, we do so with huge love and expectation for all God has ahead.

It was also such a joy to set apart Alex to lead the leadership team across our four congregations, as we step into this next season together - full of faith for all God wants to do in and through Hope Church!

We’re setting aside tomorrow to Friday (20th–22nd May) for three days of prayer and fasting as we seek God together 🙏

We’re making space to pray, listen, and press in together as a church family ❤️‍🔥
 We will be praying both morning and evening Wednesday - Friday this week:
☀️ Morning prayer on Zoom | 6–7am  🌙 Evening prayer at St Luke’s, Bromley Common | 7:30pm

Keep an eye out for some helpful videos coming this evening on what fasting is, why we fast, and some practical tips.

Over six weeks, we’ll journey through Scripture and explore what happens when people truly encounter God - and how it changes everything.

We’re believing for fresh awe, deeper surrender, and wholehearted worship.

Together Sunday’s look like this… our four sites gathering together to worship Jesus, receive and be challenged by His word and celebrate all He has done together! 🥳🥳

Join us this Sunday as we start our new teaching series ‘I saw the Lord’, a six-week journey through Scripture, exploring what happens when people truly encounter the living God. From Isaiah to Revelation, we’ll see how a vision of Jesus transforms everything - and we’ll make space in our gatherings not just to hear, but to respond in worship. ❤️
