The Chief Rabbi was delighted to meet the wonderful volunteers from the GIFT Charity Giving Kitchen at Central Synagogue in London.

The Giving Kitchen is an initiative created in response to rising food poverty in our community, and to generate opportunities for meaningful giving. Each week volunteers cook and deliver hundreds of fresh, nutritious meals to those in need.

Murray Foltyn has a rare blood cancer, for which his only chance of successful treatment is to find a stem cell match through someone with a matching tissue type. Because Murray is Jewish, a matching donor is far more likely to be Jewish too. Time is short.
