September is here, and we’re excited to step into our new focus: ‘One Mission: Education’!

Education is a powerful tool - one that shapes lives, strengthens communities, and opens doors to transformation. We believe deeply in its value, and we’re looking forward to exploring this month’s theme together.

Please make every effort to join us on Monday 7 September at 7.45pm - at the Brent Civic Centre or on Zoom - as we stand together with our community in prayer. We will be lifting up the bereaved families and friends, and interceding for our community as a whole, praying against the grip of gangs, drugs, and knife crime.

Change is not only necessary - it is urgent. And we must be part of that change.

We’ve reached the final week of our ‘One Mission: Our Community’ focused services, and what a blessing this month has been.

Tomorrow we also begin the first in a new series of evening services running over the coming months. We are expectant for what God will do in this appointed time of encounter. Whether you have a need, a prayer request, or simply desire to spend time in consecration and reach out to the Lord, we invite you to come. Let us gather and seek the One who is truly "Our Refuge and Strength".

What a wonderful month we’ve had so far!

As we continue to focus on ‘One Mission: Our Community’, we’re invited to pause and reflect: How are you contributing to the mission God has entrusted to us?

How can we support, love, and demonstrate Christ to those around us? Our desire is simple yet profound - to introduce people to Jesus until everyone has heard.

Romans 10:13-14 (ESV) reminds us:
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”

As we come to the Lord’s table and reflect on His sacrifice, we’re reminded of our calling to share the gospel far and wide - so that many more can come to know the One who gave His life for us.

This month, we’re turning our focus to ‘One Mission: Our Community.’ We’re looking beyond the walls and comfort of our building as we seek to engage with, serve, and minister to the needs of those around us. Our church’s mission is to guide people to Jesus Christ, and to fulfil that mission, we must be present and active in our community.

Scripture reminds us:

_"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
But how can they call on Him unless they believe in Him?
And how can they believe if they have never heard?
And how can they hear unless someone tells them?
And how will anyone go unless they are sent?
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”_
Romans 10:13–15 (NLT)

Tomorrow, we’ll be celebrating with those who are taking the next step in their faith journey through baptism, publicly declaring their commitment to Christ.

Let’s come together with joy, expectation, and purpose as we celebrate, and as we engage in the mission.

Our Youth Ministry has led us through an incredible month. It’s been wonderful to witness their growth, their gifts and their passion for Christ.

This Sunday marks the end of Youth Month and we’re inviting you to join us in supporting our young people.

We’ll also be recognising Davinia Robinson, who will be presented with her ministerial license.

Then join us at 6pm for the ‘Open Heaven - Outpouring’.
Come expecting to experience the power of God.
