Heavenly Father, Source of all life and love,
We gather today to honour mothers sent from above,
In Jesus' name, we lift our voices high,
Celebrating their love, strength, and sacrifice.
Mothers of faith, pillars of our church,
We praise You, Lord, for their unwavering touch,
Their hearts beat with compassion, their hands serve with care,
Nurturing souls, and guiding them with love and prayer.
From Sarah's trust to Hannah's fervent cry,
Women of faith have shaped our spiritual sky,
Their stories inspire, their examples guide,
As we strive to follow, side by side.
Lord, bless our mothers, grandmothers, and wives,
Grant them wisdom, strength, and endless life,
May their love be pure, their hearts be true,
Reflecting Your glory, shining bright anew.
For those who long to be mothers, yet unknown,
Grant them peace, comfort, and a promise shown,
May Your plans unfold, Your timing be divine,
And their hearts overflow with joy, hope, and love's sweet wine.
We pray for single mothers, widows, and those who mourn,
May Your presence comfort, heal, and restore,
Their hearts, their lives, and their stories anew,
May they know they're loved, valued, and cherished by You.
On this Mothering Sunday, we honour You,
For the gift of motherhood, we praise You true,
May our lives reflect Your love, and may we say,
"Thank You, Lord, for mothers, every day."
