Take a look at the incredible progress we are making on Bed one in the Parish garden!
Swipe through the photos to see where we started with (Photo 1), the hard work we’ve put in to clear the space (Photo 2), and our beautiful vision for the future of bed one(Photo 3).
We are building accessible, raised railway sleeper beds to be filled with curated biblical flora, creating a self-sustaining sanctuary for reflection, remembrance and quiet contemplation, a living garden where visitors can find peace, connect with nature's rhythms and discover moments of tranquility.
The garden welcomes the wider community as a gathering place where neighbours can meet, share conversation and build meaningful connections in a setting that nurtures both plants and friendships.
To make this vision a reality, we are inviting our parish family to help us fund this amazing project.
There are three special ways you can support the project:
Sponsor a Biblical Plant: Dedicate one of our new biblical plants in your name or in loving memory of someone special. A personal plaque will be attached to the plant you sponsor.
Support the Building Materials: Contribute toward the cost of our durable railway sleepers and soil.
Every donor who contributes to the materials will have their name, or the name of a loved one, engraved on a large, beautifully crafted general "Thank You" plaque in the garden.
Support with your time: Give a morning or afternoon of your time to prepare the garden for the new beds or help build the new beds. No prior gardening or building experience is necessary.
This is a beautiful way to leave a lasting legacy in our parish grounds. You can make a donation directly here: https://parish.rcdow.org.uk/pimlico/donate/
If you would like to specify your donation for a sponsored plant or have any questions, please email us at [email protected] or speak to us after Mass.
Thank you for helping us grow!
