Week One: Our Call to Stewardship
This week marks the beginning of our Planned Giving Drive at Holy Apostles Pimlico: "Our Call to Stewardship".
Whether you are new to Pimlico or have been a parishioner for years, our overwhelming sense of welcome is a real hallmark of who we are. To keep our church a welcoming, warm, safe, and inclusive space for all, we are launching our first Planned Giving Drive since 2018.
Did You Know?
We do not receive funding from the government, the Vatican, or the Diocese.
In 2024, it cost the parish £257,311 to keep our church doors open.
Our Finance Committee has identified three essential areas for our future legacy:
1. Making Holy Apostles a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible space for all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and needs.
2. Securing the long-term care, resilience, and sustainability of our church for future generations.
3. Offering a commitment for Holy Apostles to be a hub for the whole community of Pimlico, fostering deeper community cohesion.
As Canon Chris Vipers notes, we are entering a new era and facing the future with confidence. We invite you to regularly reflect on your blessings and consider how you can share your time, talents, and prayer to support our parish.
