So a thing happened today...
Dance leaders tip;
Stand in your anointing
So my Church is large and there are tape barriers during the service just to stop interference also because there are lots of cameras as we have a very large online viewing.people don't really "come to the front to dance"
So this morning the amazing worship leader said "There's plenty of space at the front to dance" realising that the tape was across I felt a move in the spirit to go open it and invite the people dancing in the aisles. You can see security was like.. what shall I do?
But in the space of seconds I knew I was grabbing people who I know serve in church and wouldn't do anything too crazy! In the words of one of the worship team who came to dance "you just ripped off the tape and grabbed us all!" She was laughing so hard because technically I could have got a bit of a telling off. But when you know you know...
So after the service I message my pastor kind of apologising and explaining myself.
I got this in return:
Always trust your beautiful sensitivity to the Lord and the anointing!🙏
This is the stuff of dreams for most dancers in church. I am very thankful I serve under such wonderful leaders, and I mean wonderful.
Moments like these!!!!

Natasha Joined the in house dance team at during the session lead by worshipper Aaron Hill.
This was probably one of our favorite moments of the Flames conference. Declaring the name of Jesus! Ministering to the worship leader, covering him in the name of Jesus.

Last night we had the privilege to dance at FLAMES conference with Naomi Raine.

Now apart from being totally amazing anyway this short clip ( I'll share a fuller clip later) just goes to show how well dancers can work with worship leaders if we are all listening to one another and to what holy spirit is saying!

At this point Naomi had walked over a couple of times and I wondered what she was thinking.
Because I was paying attention to what she was doing and any signals she was giving the band, I noticed her walk over, use her hand to call me forward, then she pointed to where she wanted me.

It's such a blessing to have clear instructions for one. But also I was very humbled at the fact that she stood aside and let Jesus take center stage.

Naomi Raine is a part of Maverick City which at the moment are probably the most popular, most played worship band.
But she still stood aside for Jesus!

For me it was a moment I'll never forget.

Remember to pay attention to whoever is leading worship while you dance. You are a team.
