The break was due to technical issues and the loss of prior workers. It gave us time to reflect and review what we do and why we do it. We were thrown into broadcasting at the height of the pandemic, like many others. We have rebalanced and reorganised the A/V system to cope with running the live and broadcast systems in tandem. We are also training up new volunteers to help us run the service.

NB: We will not be returning to Facebook Broadcasting; however, if this affects you negatively and you would like us to return to broadcasting on Facebook please let us know.

Over the pandemic, we moved over to live broadcasts of our services. We have managed to keep it going for an extended period since. Unfortunately, due to limited volunteers, we have had to choose between maintaining broadcasting or restricting more significant aspects of the work which would negatively impact the worship service. We hope eventually to be able to relaunch our live broadcasts.

To keep up with the teaching please access our sermon recordings at https://homerton.church/sermons.htm or on Faithlife. The sermons are uploaded immediately after the end of the service, and these recordings provide you with the projection slides and audio.

The following sermons were recorded during the period of our redevelopment, where we have had the privilege of joining in fellowship with our sister church at West Ham Baptist Tabernacle.

Behind our busyness and wealth is a philosophy called secularism, which doesn’t just deny God’s existence but denies the existence of any spiritual world.

We have recently been hitting problems with Facebook broadcasts due to their recent changes. We have found them to be an unreliable service. We have been working through solutions to the problems, but the issues faced are with their servers. We would recommend using our YouTube broadcasts if you face problems tomorrow. Our Prayers are for with King Charles III and his consort.

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."

Our condolences and deepest sympathies are with the royal family today. We’ve lost a beloved sovereign, but they have lost a mother and so much more. I hope they take some comfort in the fact that Her Majesty knew Christ Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. She was also much loved by her subjects, and around the world.
