My niece age 12 is one of my favourite people in existence. She recently entered an art competition & asked to draw me. Below is what she created & it made me cry 💕

This was the brief:

We would like you to create a piece of artwork in response to Jacqueline Suowari which celebrates your own culture. This could be a self portrait or a portrait of a family member or friend and include patterns and colour connected to yours/their culture. You must use a biro pen and include an element of fabric. You may also like to include acrylic and papers. Work should be a minimum A5 in size.

I am 99% bed bound most of 2024 & sharing my Sukkah was my 1st piece of work in some time.

My was so special to celebrate Sukkot with others who do not have the space or ability to build their own.

Thank you to my amazing loved ones who worked so hard bringing into physical reality the vision I had been obsessing about for a year!!

Not all of us can build, have, or visit physical Sukkahs of our own, so we'd like to invite you into Abraham & Sarah’s Tent Sukkah! Whether you have access to a physical Sukkah or not, everyone is welcome to join us for this special social event.

Let’s come together to get to know one another better and build our community. Whether you’ve attended every Tent event or this is your first time, we’d love to see you there. There’s absolutely no pressure to have your camera on or to speak — join us from wherever you feel most comfortable: your own Sukkah, dining table, sofa, or your bed.

Feel free to bring your dinner along and share a meal with us in our virtual Sukkah. Let’s celebrate the joy of Sukkot together!

The Abraham & Sarah’s Tent steering group have done wonders ensuring online High Holy Day services go ahead whilst I’m ill. It is essential that those who cannot access a physical Jewish community have somewhere to attend services. Anyone Jewish or exploring their relationship with Judaism is welcome.

Although heartbreaking for me not to be leading online this year. I know that Rabbi Daisy Bogod is the perfect person to lead High Holy Days & will be wonderful. For anyone still taking Covid precautions in the U.K., it’s really important to fill in this survey about access to prophylactic Covid prevention medication.

We need a final push as the survey will be closing at the weekend. If you have not filled it in plase do. Please also share it to other groups or immunocompromised people you know. It's really important we give a good representation.@

As part of the evaluation by NICE of the new Prophylactic drug Sipavibart (Evusheld 2) we have been asked to submit evidence to show the patients viewpoint of the need and effect of the drug.

In order to do this we need you to help by filling out this short survey form.

We can only accept answers from someone who is classed as immunocompromised. You may fill the form in on behalf of someone in your household who is immunocompromised.

Please follow the form through to the end as we need as many answers to give strong data to present to the NICE appraisal committee. The more information and data we have the better we can represent you and how access to this drug could make a difference to your life.

All answers are submitted anonymously and we can collect no email addresses or any personal data. Please ensure that you do not refer to named persons or specific clinics or hospitals in any answers that you give.

Please note questions are either single answer multiple choice or checkbox questions where you may select as many as you feel are applicable to your situation.

Hello Everyone,

Apologies for my prolonged absence. I have been severely ill.

I am not back at work yet & sadly don’t know when that will be.

Still in bed or hospital 99% of time. Awaiting more serious tests & results.
