God of Sabbath rest and holy delight,
we pause—not to escape the world,
but to remember how deeply you love it.
Not a narrow slice.
Not only those who look like us,
pray like us,
or arrived here the way we did.
You so love the world—
the loud and the lonely,
the rooted and the uprooted,
those with passports and those with only hope in their pockets.
On this Sabbath day,
we welcome the truth that your love has no border fence.
It does not check documents.
It does not flinch at accents, skin tones, or unfamiliar stories.
It makes room.
You spread a table wide enough
for immigrants and elders,
for refugees and lifelong neighbors,
for those who have been told they are “too much”
and those who have been told they do not belong at all.
Teach us, God of generous grace,
that rest is not indifference
and peace is not built by exclusion.
Let Sabbath soften what fear has hardened in us.
Let joy loosen our grip on scarcity.
May our welcome echo yours—
not cautious,
not reluctant,
but glad.
And as we rest,
may the world know itself loved through us.
Amen.

An EXCITING announcement! 🙌

⛪ Our Churches in London, and the Greater London area have been growing significantly, all praise be to God!

To aid our District Superintendent, Rev. Carl McCann, we are excited to share that Rev. Jason Nike, Pastor of our Fresh Ground London church will begin assisting Carl in encouraging these congregations in their various ministries throughout the Captial.

As stated in the accompanying image, we are excited, and expectant to see how God will continue to move in this area!
