Day 21 Declaration: Behold God is doing a New Thing in Nigeria

“Welcome to Day 21 of our Prayer Watch for Nigeria; our declaration today is taken from
Isaiah 43:18 (AMP), which reads:

“Do not remember the former things or ponder the things of the past
Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing,
Now it will spring for the
Will you not be aware of it ?
I will even put a road in the wilderness
Rivers in the desert.”

And so, We declare that God is doing a new thing in Nigeria.

We decree that – the corruption, the evil practices, the wickedness and all other abominable practices - are former things, things of the past in Nigeria, in Jesus name.

We decree that the current narrative about Nigeria is over and it fades away in Jesus name.

We declare that the new thing that God is doing in Nigeria springs forth.

We declare that it is a marvel and a wonder and what the Lord is doing is marvellous in our eyes.
We decree that the captivity of Nigeria is being turned in this season and that Nigerians are like those who dreamed.

We declare that God is doing wonderful things, signs and wonders in Nigeria for which we are glad.

We declare that the Lord is filling the mouths of Nigerians with laughter and singing as we see the restoration of our nation for God.

We declare a new phase.

We declare new beginnings.

We declare a freshness. Praise God !!

We declare newness ordained by God in every phase of society – government, leaders, economy, infrastructure, education, health sector, natural resources.

We declare a newness in areas in Nigeria that would be deemed dead and impossible.

We declare roads in every wilderness situation and rivers in every desert situation in Nigeria in Jesus name.

We declare that God is doing a new thing in the Church in Nigeria.

We declare that God is doing a new thing amongst the different tribes that make up Nigeria.

We declare a New Nigeria under our God in Jesus name Amen.

Day 18 Declaration over Corruption. We are reminded of the prophecy spoken by Pa Sydney Elton, many years ago, where he said:

“Your name – Nigeria will stink for corruption but after a while, a new phase will come – a phase of righteousness – Pa Sydney Elton.”

And on the back of this prophecy, our declaration today is taken from
Ephesians 4:22 (TPT).

“And He has taught you to let go of the lifestyle of the ancient man, the old self-life, which was corrupted by sinful and deceitful desires that spring from delusions. Now it’s time to be made new by every revelation that has been given to you. And to be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ within as your new life and live in union with him!”
