Happy Feast of The Holy Trinity

Today is Ascension Day. The day Jesus Christ ascended into heaven.
For forty days after His Resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples in His glorified body. He taught them, ate with them, and showed them His wounds, proving His bodily Resurrection.

On the fortieth day, He led them out to the Mount of Olives, near Bethany. He blessed them with His hands raised. As they watched, He was taken up into the sky, and a cloud received Him. The cloud, throughout Scripture, is a sign of divine glory.

Two angels appeared to the disciples and said: "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have seen Him go into heaven." (Acts 1:11)

The Ascension was not the absence of Christ. It was His enthronement. He now reigns in glorified human flesh at the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes for His Church and prepares a place for those who belong to Him.

He will return.

✝️ WHY IS IT CALLED “GOOD” FRIDAY, WHEN JESUS DIED? 😳
__________________
On this day, the sky darkened.
The earth trembled.
The Son of God was nailed to a Cross and died.

And yet… we call it Good Friday.

Why?

What could possibly be “good” about this day?

✝️ 1. BECAUSE EVIL DID NOT WIN, LOVE DID

To human eyes, this was tragedy.

An innocent man condemned

Truth silenced

Justice crushed

But in reality:

👉 This was the greatest victory in history

What looked like defeat was actually:

Sin being destroyed

Satan being overthrown

Death being conquered

The Cross is not the end of Jesus.

👉 It is the end of sin’s dominion.

✝️ 2. BECAUSE THIS WAS NOT TAKEN, IT WAS GIVEN

Jesus was not overpowered.

👉 He chose the Cross.

“No one takes my life from me, I lay it down of my own accord.” (John 10:18)

This changes everything.

👉 This is not murder alone.
👉 This is sacrifice.

Good Friday is “good” because:

👉 God gave Himself for us.

✝️ 3. BECAUSE JUSTICE AND MERCY MET

On the Cross:

God did not ignore sin

God did not destroy sinners

Instead:

👉 He took sin upon Himself.

Justice was fulfilled

Mercy was released

As Isaiah foretold:

👉 “He was pierced for our transgressions…” (Isaiah 53:5)

This is why it is “good”:

👉 We deserved the Cross. He took it.

✝️ 4. BECAUSE THE CURSE BECAME A BLESSING

The Cross was once a curse:

A sign of shame

A place of death

But Christ transformed it.

👉 “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree…” (Galatians 3:13)

And yet:

👉 He became that curse… to break it.

So now:

The Cross is no longer shame

The Cross is glory

✝️ 5. BECAUSE WITHOUT THIS DAY, YOU HAVE NO SALVATION

No Good Friday…

👉 No forgiveness
👉 No redemption
👉 No hope of Heaven

This is the day:

👉 Your sins were paid for
👉 Your debt was canceled
👉 Your eternity was opened

✝️ 6. THE PARADOX THAT SHOCKS THE WORLD

The world sees pain and calls it bad.

God sees sacrifice and calls it good.

The world sees death

Heaven sees salvation

This is the mystery:

👉 The worst day in human history
became the best day for humanity.

✝️ FINAL MESSAGE

It is called Good Friday…

Not because Jesus suffered.

👉 But because His suffering saved you.

Not because He died.

👉 But because His death gave you life.

So today, we do not celebrate pain.

👉 We celebrate love that refused to walk away.

Because on this day:

Nails did not hold Him

Love did

And that is why…

👉 It will forever be called GOOD Friday.

✝️

Holy Thursday Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ,
On this sacred night,
we remember the love You showed at the Last Supper.

You gave us the gift of the Holy Eucharist,
Your Body and Blood,
to remain with us always.
Fill our hearts with deep gratitude
for this priceless gift of Your presence.

Lord, You knelt to wash the feet of Your disciples,
showing us the way of humility and service.
Teach us to love as You love,
to serve without pride,
and to give without counting the cost.

In the Garden of Gethsemane,
You asked Your disciples to watch and pray.
Help us, Lord, to remain with You,
especially in moments of suffering and trial.
Give us the strength to stay faithful
when it is difficult.

Cleanse our hearts, O Lord,
and make us worthy to receive You.
Draw us closer to Your Sacred Heart
and deepen our faith in Your Real Presence.
As we enter into Your Passion,
help us to walk with You—
to carry our crosses with trust,
and to remain steadfast in love.

Stay with us, Lord,
and let our lives reflect Your mercy and grace.
Amen. ✝️🙏

Prayer for Holy Wednesday

Heavenly Father,
on this Holy Wednesday,
I come before You in quiet reflection and humility.

Lord Jesus,
on this day we remember how You were betrayed by Judas Iscariot,
one of Your own disciples.
Yet even in the face of betrayal,

You chose love, mercy, and obedience to the Father.
Search my heart, O Lord.
Reveal anything within me
that turns away from You—
my doubts, my weaknesses, my hidden sins.

Help me to be faithful to You
in my thoughts, my words, and my actions.
Give me the courage to stand by You,
even when it is difficult.

Lord, teach me true repentance.
Fill me with Your grace,
so that I may walk in Your light
and not fall into darkness.

As I journey closer to the Cross,
help me to trust in Your mercy
and remain steadfast in Your love.

I offer this day to You, Lord,
with a sincere and faithful heart.

Amen. ✝️

Holy Wednesday Prayer

Lord Jesus,
on this Holy Wednesday,
I remember the betrayal You endured
and the sorrow it brought to Your Heart.

Forgive me, Lord,
for the times I have turned away from You,
for the moments I have been unfaithful
in my thoughts, words, and actions.

Search my heart and reveal
any hidden sin or weakness within me.
Help me to choose truth over deceit,
faithfulness over betrayal,
and love over selfishness.

Strengthen me, O Lord,
that I may remain loyal to You
even in moments of temptation and trial.

As I walk with You through this Holy Week,
draw me closer to Your Passion
and deepen my love for You.

Keep me watchful and faithful,
so that I may never betray Your love,
but instead live each day
as a true disciple of Your mercy.
Amen. ✝️🙏

Prayer to Our Guardian Angel

Angel of God, you who were granted to me through the Love of our Heavenly Father, I welcome you into my life.
Please guide Me in the Ways of Truth, the Truth that Jesus laid down His Life for upon the Cross of His Love.
My faithful Guardian and friend, I welcome you into my daily life to guide me so that I will always try to walk the Path that will Glorify our Father, through my love of His Son, Jesus.
Be with me in my daily actions and inspire me to always walk away from occasions of sin. Watch over me at night so that I may sleep safely in the Heart of my Saviour, Jesus, our God and our Friend.

Prayer to Mary, Mother of God
Feast Day – January 01, 2026

O Mary, Mother of God,
chosen by the Father to bear His Son,
we honor you on this blessed feast day
and entrust ourselves to
your loving care.

You welcomed God’s will
with faith and humility.
Teach us to say “yes” to the Lord
in every moment of our lives,
especially as we begin this new year.

Mother of Jesus and our Mother,
intercede for our families,
pray for peace in our world,
and guide us always closer to your Son.

Cover us with your mantle of protection,
strengthen us in hope,
and lead us on the path of holiness.

Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us now and always.
Amen.

Mary, Mother of God — A New Year Entrusted to Grace

The Feast of Mary, Mother of God, celebrated on January 1st, stands at a powerful crossroads: the meeting point of the Nativity of Christ and the beginning of a new year. It is no coincidence that the Church places Mary before us on this day. Before plans are made, before resolutions are declared, before the year rushes forward, we are invited to pause and entrust everything to a Mother.

Mary is called Mother of God not as a poetic title, but as a profound truth of faith. The child she bore is fully human and fully divine. In saying “yes” to God, Mary did not merely accept a role — she accepted a mission that would shape salvation history. Her faith was not passive; it was courageous, costly, and deeply trusting.

This prayer reminds us that Mary’s greatness lies not in power or status, but in her humility. She welcomed God’s will even when the path ahead was unclear. As a new year begins, this becomes our challenge: not to control every outcome, but to cultivate hearts willing to say “yes” — again and again — in ordinary moments and unexpected trials.

The prayer also widens its gaze beyond the individual. It asks Mary to intercede for families, for peace in the world, and for guidance toward Christ. This is a sober reminder that faith is never isolated. Our choices ripple outward, touching homes, communities, and societies that ache for healing and hope.

The image of Mary’s mantle is especially striking. It symbolizes protection, tenderness, and refuge — not an escape from hardship, but the assurance that we are not alone within it. To stand under her mantle is to stand closer to Christ, strengthened to walk the demanding path of holiness with perseverance rather than fear.

Beginning the year with Mary is an act of spiritual realism. It acknowledges that human effort alone is insufficient. We need grace. We need intercession. We need a Mother who continually points us toward her Son.

As the prayer concludes, it does not ask for extraordinary signs or dramatic changes. It asks for something far more demanding and transformative: faith, hope, peace, and holiness — lived daily.

That is how a year truly becomes new.
