MY MINISTRY IS NOT GROWING BECAUSE........

Ministers have so many reasons why their ministry is not doing well. The accusation starts from the devil to the witches in the village. They have forgotten that every growth principle is from within. Anything and everything that has life grows from within. It is the cells within that multiply themselves. Didn’t you do Biology in school?

The growth of every ministry is in direct proportion to the growth of the minister. Are you growing spiritually? Are you feeding on the word of God regularly? Do you pray more than any member of your ministry? How many books do you read in a week?

Technology has made growth very easy. Listen to messages as you go. Pray without season. The more you know about God, the more freedom you enjoy to grow. The more you know about God, the more exploits you do. Enough of traditional activities we label spiritual. When you give God time in your closet, God will openly show case your ministry.

This is the principle: GROW WITHIN FIRST AND EVERYTHING OUTSIDE WILL CATCH FIRE. God told the children of Israel in the book of Jeremiah; I will give you pastors after my heart who will FEED you with knowledge and understanding.

If you are not well fed, you will not be able to feed others. You will end up having kwashiorkor members. Remember, you can only give what you have. Feeding the flock with knowledge and understanding requires you to have knowledge and understanding in the things of God. The sheep will only lie down in green pasture. If the pasture is brown, they will be roaming about.

Faith is the basis for comparison in life and Ministry. Romans 12 verse 3 says, we should measure and estimate ourselves by our faith.

God's weighing scale is not money.
God's measuring scale is not houses.
God's measuring scale is not the number of children you gave birth to.
God's measuring scale is not your career.
God's measuring scale is not your anointing.

All these things are good if you got them by faith. God measures everything with the lens of faith. Stop coveting the material things people have. Covet their faith. The blessings you get by faith will last longer than the blessings you got by strength.
Even in Mentoring, the rule is in Hebrews 13:7. It says, (paraphrase)..... remember those who have rule over you and have spoken the word to you.....whose faith follow....
You follow the leaders faith. Not their age or social clout but their FAITH. Stop following leaders who have no faith. You will end up not having faith but an empty religion.

Your faith will not fail in Jesus name. I pray for myself regularly too, that my faith will not fail lest I be a castaway after preaching to so many. I keep myself on my toes in spite of all the challenges around me.

It is not the devil, It is your bad mood......
Joy is the secret of good health. The Bible says, a broken spirit dries the bones.
Proverbs 17:22 KJV
[22] A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Your regular bad moods will make you sick. Psychologists say, we need 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile.
If you frown all the time, you will age fast. At age 40, 60 year old women are kneeling down for you and you call that respect? It is because you look haggard.... it is not respect o...🙈🙈🙈
Wear a smile everywhere you go. Cast your cares on the Lord and stop carrying the whole world on your shoulders. Everybody has challenges.
Don't be stupid thinking you are the only one who has problems. Nobody has it all, so rejoice. I tell our women in Church when they ask me why I smile all the time.... they ask... Mama don't you have problems. My reply all the time is... I have problems but I don't have "Ironu". Help me translate. 🐥🐥
I don't have sleepless nights over what I don't have power over. This attitude has helped me surmount so many problems over the years.
Anger and strife are two other areas you must deliberately give attention to. Avoid them by all means. They open doors to emotional sickness.

Stay strong. Stay healthy. Stay joyful. Stay happy.

It is not the devil, It is ignorance.......
Ignorance of side effects of medicine and chemicals is causing a lot of damage to our health. Before you use any medicine, read the side effects. Ordinary panadol has side effects when not regulated.
We were in a hotel room in New York when I heard an advert of a new drug. The small drug had 48 side effects. I was shivering.
Do your due diligence on every prescribed drug. Some went to the hospital for a particular case and came out with something worse. Be alert. Do not die in ignorance.
Some bleaching chemicals end up in skin cancer. Don't even go there. A child of God should not bleach. It is a symptom of low self esteem. Be real. You are beautiful. Be confident. Be happy with yourself.

It is not the devil, It is laziness......
Ecclesiastes 10:18 KJV
[18] By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
If you are lazy, your body will decay. Work is the first thing God gave to man. This is to keep him physically fit. Stop looking for salary alone, look for work. Work keeps you healthy.
Take errands as an opportunity for work. When you are lazy, you will suffer what is called DISUSE ATROPHY. In other words, you will be useless. Your body will lose it's strength. Bet you don't want that so find work to do anywhere you find yourself. If nobody gives you work, create one for yourself. Work keeps the body strong and agile.
Laziness will make your mind idle. Laziness will make you sick. Do you know regular household chores is a form of exercise? Just sitting in one place watching African Magic will "kill" you. When you sit down on the internet, make sure it is adding value to you and giving you ideas on how to generate money. Please create work for yourself everywhere you go.
Sitting idly will deform you. Decay is the end of laziness. Give the children work no matter the number of helps you have. Train them to be "workers not sitters"
Stop binding the devil when it is laziness that has caused your challenges!

It is not the devil , It is too much sugar......
I read an article in a readers digest publication where sugar and ma*****na were placed on the same scale. Sugar goes straight to the bloodstream so it causes a lot of damage to our organs.
God instructed the children of Israel to take bitter herbs in Exodus 12 verse 8 and Numbers 9 verse 11.
Bitter things neutralise the damaging effect of sugar. Force.... I mean force.... force the children to take bitter things regularly because all their food and snacks are sugar coated. The day I watched on the internet how jam is produced, I almost lost my mind. 🙉🙉🙉
I used to warn a brother to reduce his sugar intake but he would not listen. He came down with a severe back ache until he could not walk again. I went to see him and found his "spiri" brethren blasting in tongues, disturbing the entire neighbourhood. I prayed for him and told his wife to get him to take bitter things. They blended bitter leaf for him and in four days, he was back on his feet. He has learnt his lesson.

It is not the devil, It is a dirty environment.....
A dirty environment will attract sickness no matter how much you pray in tongues. Keep the gutters in your house clean. Keep the gutters in front of your shop clean. It is very disheartening to find stinking gutters in our markets yet there are market leaders there who collect taxes from every shop occupant.
Keep your toilets clean. Keep your kitchen clean. Don't leave used plates unwashed overnight. Keep dust and cobwebs away from the house.
Mosquitoes, rats, cockroaches are channels of sickness in the home. Keep a clean environment. Disinfect the house regularly and stop binding the devil. Leave the devil alone and let him rest....lol

It is not the devil, it is Dehydration....
Increase your water intake. The human body is 65% water. The organs in the body need water to function optimally.
When I read the benefits of water on the internet, I knew my health depended on it.
Years ago, I had a problem with my kneecap. I always had a peppery sensation there. To kneel down was hellish. To stand up was a nightmare. One day I just decided to start taking the required water for the day. When my water intake increased, I just discovered that the one year old pain disappeared within a week. It was unbelievable. Today, water is my pill and it is working FOR ME.
Dehydration causes a lot of sickness. Stop binding the devil. The problem is dehydration. Increase your water intake.

It is not the devil, It is stress.....
God rested, you must rest.... the human body is not a machine. Even machines pack up when you over work them. Rest is part of living. Rest is refreshing. REST IS A COVENANT! Before your organs pack up, please rest. You are not indispensable. If you die today out of wanting to do it all, your space will not be vacant for long. Stop deceiving yourself that if you are not there, the work will seize. That is a self made lie. Rest. It is the medicine for your body. If God rested, you better do the same.
Stress is physical and mental pressure. Pressure in turn leads to strain and deformation.
Before we get to this point, let us rest. Only God does not sleep or slumber. You are not God and stop trying to be.
Rest does not necessarily mean sleep. It means to disengage from an activity for a while. It means to break your routine for a while.
Always break your day into two. Rest is a golden key for speed.
Permit me to digress a little.... Do you know fasting is Rest? Fasting helps your digestive organs to rest. There is so much healing power in fasting. It refreshes your organs. Fasting with water ni o!

Do not borrow to marry.
Year 2020 was a blessing in disguise for those who got married during that Covid season. No irrational expenses.

I warned one of my young ladies to cut her coat according to her cloth not even according to her size but she never listened. The first 5 years of her marriage was turbulent. They almost beat each other to death because all the people they borrowed money from, kept knocking at their door at ungodly hours. This put them under so much tension that she lost two pregnancies.

You are weak, that is why you want to impress people. If you start your marriage with borrowing, you will pay dearly for it.
Do not owe the event planner. Do not owe the photographer. Do not owe the event centre. Do not owe the tailor who made your wedding gown. Do not move into a house you and your husband cannot comfortably pay for.

Guard your inner peace with all your heart. Debts steals your peace and stalls your progress. Be simple and free yourself from unnecessary expenses. It is well with you. Your home will be a haven of rest by the grace of God. Walk in wisdom.

The success of your marriage is not determined by an elaborate wedding. Be wise. Calm down!

Giving is a UNIVERSAL law of prosperity. Giving is not a "Christian issue". It is universal. If the devil gives and the jimjim intercessor refuses to give, the devil will receive and the intercessor will lack. If a drunkard gives and the chorister does not give, the drunkard will receive, the chorister with an angelic voice will lack. If an adulterer gives and the protocol officer refuses to give, the adulterer will receive and the protocol officer will lack. If an atheist gives and the anointed pastor is not a giver, the atheist will flourish, the anointed pastor will lack.

Giving is not tainted with social variables such as religion, ethnicity, age, education, profession.

The universe is governed by the law of giving and receiving, sowing and reaping. Genesis 8 verse 22 says, as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will never cease. Giving is as old as the earth 🌏.

I spent my growing days at Liberty road in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Few streets away (Ososami), there was a gift shop named GIVE AND TAKE. They had a lot of luxury items and I was a weekly customer. Every gift I wanted was bought from there. They would also help you wrap whatever you bought. Their packaging was excellent.

The gift shop operates on the law of give and take. You cannot take anything out of that shop without paying. It's not a credit shop.

Life is not a credit shop. Life is give and take. To live well, you must give well. To take, you must give. GIVE AND TAKE is the principle of life. In fact Jesus said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. (The best is to give and receive). Let's reverse what Jesus said. If it is more blessed to give than to receive that means it is a curse to keep receiving without giving.

May you not be found in the credit shop of life. May the blessings of giving abound in your life continuously in Jesus name.
