The Orthodox Parish of Saint Botolph in London

The Orthodox Parish of Saint Botolph in London The Orthodox Parish of Saint Botolph is a parish of the Eastern Orthodox Church, a part of the Patriarchal See of Antioch. Our services are in English.

We are a parish of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of the British Isles and Ireland, which is part of the Patriarchate of Antioch, where the followers of Jesus Christ were first called Christians (Acts 11:26). The See of Antioch is one of the most ancient provinces of the Orthodox Church. Our bishop is His Eminence, the Metropolitan Archbishop Silouan. Reflecting the universal character of the

Orthodox Church, our community draws faithful from diverse backgrounds. All are welcome. All our services are in English. We celebrate the Divine Liturgy every Sunday morning at 11:00, with Orthros starting from 10am. After liturgy, please join us for lunch, and the Priest in Charge, Fr Boniface, also teaches a catechism class for those who may be enquiring about the Orthodox Church. Fr Boniface can be contacted by email at [email protected]

On Thursday, 30th October, St George’s Cathedral hosted their second weekly English Divine Liturgy, celebrated jointly by the two parishes of our diocese in London: St George’s Cathedral and St Botolph’s Parish. It was a joy to welcome many faithful.

We continue to look and reach out in particular for young adults who may have been away from church for some time or who have not yet found their path to it. Come and see! Encounter our Lord Jesus Christ in the divine worship of the Orthodox Church, and enjoy warm fellowship afterwards over snacks, tea, and coffee.

Next Divine Liturgy in English is on Thursday, 6th November, at 7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome!

At the invitation of His Grace, Nektarije of Serbian diocese of Great Britain and Ireland, together with Sayedna Silouan and Vladyka Ilarion, the Antiochian clergy in London concelebrated the divine liturgy Saturday 25 January at St Sava's Serbian Orthodox Church, London. With several of the faithful of St Botolph's in attendance, it was a great joy to fellowship together and rejoice in our unity in Christ in His Holy Orthodox Church. Thank you, Vladyka Nektarije for your warm hospitality; God grant you many years!
