WHAT A NIGHT!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Taste and See last night. It was such a special evening filled with music, laughter, conversation, great food, and community — exactly the kind of night we hoped it would be.

Thank you to our brilliant MLBC House Band, led by Georgie, for creating such a beautiful atmosphere, and to our wonderful special guest, Ioannis Dekas, for sharing your music and talent with us.

A massive thank you too to every volunteer who made the evening happen behind the scenes — setting up, welcoming, serving, clearing away, pouring drinks, moving furniture and doing all the unseen jobs that make nights like this possible.

Special thanks to Carole and Anna for the incredible food — you fed us generously and wonderfully.

And finally, thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported the evening. Together we’ve helped support the vital work of the Foodbank whilst creating something really special together. We'll keep you posted on the date for the next one!

THIS SUNDAY at MLBC ...

We're really looking forward to a special Sunday together this week as we welcome BMS mission partner Genesis Acaye to Mitcham Lane Baptist Church.

Genesis will be joining us to share stories, encouragement and insight into the work God is doing in Uganda, helping us connect with the bigger story of faith and mission beyond our own walls and community.

And because good conversations shouldn't end at the church door, we'll be staying together afterwards for a bring and share lunch! If you're able, bring along something to share and stay for food, friendship and community around the table.

This summer we’re throwing open the doors for the England group stage games — and everyone is invited.

Whether you're football mad, only watch during tournaments, or just fancy good company and a big screen atmosphere, come and join us.

Coming up this Sunday at MLBC...

Join us on Sunday 31st May at 10:30am as we welcome guest speaker Rev Chris Andre-Watson, who will be leading us as we explore the book of Ephesians. As it is a 5th Sunday please note there are no children's groups this week.

Ephesians is a letter full of hope and challenge — reminding us that we are rooted in love, called into community, and invited to become one body in Christ. It's a book about grace, belonging, unity, and discovering who we are becoming together.

Whether you've been part of church for years, are exploring faith, or simply looking for a place to connect, we'd love to welcome you.
