Many years ago I listened to a series of messages preached by Dr Mensa Otabil titled THE PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE LIVING.

He preached from Genesis 1:1-3 and he was teaching that no matter the chaos in your life you can create something beautiful out of the chaotic situation you find yourself in. He further taught that we are created in the image of God so we have the capacity to create things out of nothing in life.

After hearing this message something switched in me that no matter where I find myself in life I can create something out of my life.

I remember one of the things I did was when I wanted to have a media equipment for my ministry out of the same principles I acquired full television equipment and built a media ministry. Those times we used to call it WORD TO GO...that is immediately you finish preaching THE AUDIO CASSETTE, THE CD AND THE DVD will be produced immediately after the service. At that time I didn't have anything but by THE PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE LIVING I was able to build my first media ministry in London.

Life and ministry have twist and turns. Life is not a straight forward journey. Life sometimes can be sinusoidal...it can be up and down but no matter what you can survive it.

Exactly 8 years today, I made a decision to reinvent and rebrand my life and ministry. It was a moment of emptiness and nothingness. After almost 18 years of being in London I needed to obey God and build from ground zero.

I still have to go back and listen to Dr Otabil teachings on THE PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE LIVING and apply the principles to my life and situation...and the principle is that we have been created in the image of God so we have to be creators in life.

Dr Otabil's teachings have really impacted my life. I remember camp meetings around 1991 at Labadi Trade Fair he will be preaching some messages which at those times some of us it was like heresy and he will say what I'm teaching today some of you it will take you 20 years to understand. Those were the times he will be teaching about the messages of the blackman and the awakening of a new generation. Sincerely at those times I will be like what is this man talking about ..can he preach on "power" and stop all these black emancipation teachings until I found myself in London and began to understand what he was teaching and its relevance in my life.

Today has been a day of reflection in my life and looking back I can say the teachings on PRINCIPLES OF EFFECTIVE LIVING has significantly changed my life and I want to say a big thank you to Dr Otabil

You will be surprised that I have met with him on personal levels not more than 3 times but his teachings have impacted my life significantly.

Today is a day of reflection and gratitude...
