SUPPORT: NIGERIANS VRS GHANAIANS
Sometimes you ask yourself are Nigerians more anointed and gifted than Ghanaians because if you see some of the great things they are doing in ministry it is mind blowing.
I believe that Ghanaian preachers are very anointed and gifted. God is using Ghanaians as well as Nigerians.
The way Nigerian pastors can go to Nations and fill stadiums is amazing. Their musicians are the same compared to Ghanaian.
The problem with the Ghanaian is that we don't support and celebrate our own. This is the major problem.
How many Ghanaian preachers or musicians that can go to any part of Nigeria and fill their event center or stadium? However many Nigerian preachers come to Ghana and fill our stadium and Ghanaians will be rolling everywhere......
Nigerians support themselves far more than Ghanaians. The support Nigerian preachers get among themselves cannot be compared with Ghanaians.
Fortunately for me, some of the household names in Nigeria today are my friends and some of them I have known way back 15 or 20 years ago and when you talk to them you will realize that they get unusual support from their own people.
What amazes me is that you will see a father in Nigeria having a major conference and on his bill are some of the upcoming and rising pastors being the guest speakers.
For example, there are a few names I will be mentioning just to explain my point....APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN, JERRY EZE, REV BOLAJI IDOWU, PASTOR YEMI DAVIDS, PASTOR EMMANUEL IREN, APOSTLE MICHAEL OROKPO, REV SAM OYE and the list can go on and on. You will realize that most of these guys feature on conventions of the fathers and with that it becomes endorsement for the rising generation but not in Ghana. In Ghana, what will be said is that the upcoming generation don't have character, they don't have integrity and we must be careful about them.
One of the pastors in Nigeria was under serious sexual allegations where some of the members rose up against this pastor, they demonstrated against him with placards however the fathers stood and supported this pastor, they went to his church, preached for him and stood with him until the issue was solved....BUT NOT in Ghana ooooo
Even church members know how to support their own. Some of the crusades you see around are paid for by few individuals and they are happy to support their pastor. Recently, I was on a programme with one of the popular preachers and a man paid for a private jet to bring in the preacher from Nigeria to the meeting and fully paid for everything.
Recently, I chanced upon a video where Dr Paul Enenche was testifying about the way people literally fight to sponsor his crusades with thousands of dollars.......
Trust me, I see many, many gifted and serious young pastors in Ghana. There are people in Ghana doing ministry but they lack support. I do get worried when I see many of these pastors running to Nigeria to submit to fathers in Nigeria.
These days, every young pastor in Ghana is looking for an opportunity to be connected to Nigerian Father.
Myself, it was Dr Abel Damina that gave me his platform in Nigeria in 2012 that opened Nigeria for me.
When you attend some conventions in Nigeria, the way the host pastors will take their time to acknowledge and appreciate even the young pastors present is humbling.
In as much as our gospel musicians like our local songs which is also powerful and anointed but how many Ghanaian gospel musicians do you see are invited to come to Nigeria and sing in their churches and conventions as we do in Ghana. In the music industry the the problem is the same . Only few Ghanaians have that privilege.
My fellow preacher and my dear musician the problem is not that you are not anointed nor gifted, the problem is we don't have supporters ooooo
I know someone is going to say but the bible says we shouldn't compare ourselves with one another....THIS POST IS TO DEAL WITH CULTURE & MENTALITY of people.
In EUROPE, AMERICA, ASIA AND ANY PART OF THE WORLD NIGERIANS SUPPORT THEMSELVES MORE THAN GHANAIANS...
