CELLULITIS! Fr Stephen thanks those who have expressed concern or offered prayers for him in the last few days. The condition that first expressed itself in Covid/Flu like symptoms turns out to be a nasty attack of Cellulitis. After visiting the very efficient Walk-In Department at Central Middlesex Hospital yesterday he is on strong Antibiotics and has been told to take rest - otherwise he will end up in hospital, so he will not be available until the weekend.

Well, the trees have arrived, and are resting...ready to be decorated tomorrow. They are more welcome than the 3 funerals that I have begun to arrange today. Offer a prayer for those who will be feeling the loss of a loved one this Christmas.

The 12.45pm Requiem Mass was offered in the Holy Souls Chapel. When the Shrine Church was opened in 1930, the mortal remains of parishioners rested here in preparation for their Funerals, and Mass was regularly offered at this altar. It is still a focus of our charitable Prayer for the Dead, and, once November is concluded, this year's Book of the Dead is placed here.

Getting ready for the Feast of Our Lady of Willesden (Tuesday 3rd Oct.) Mass at 10am and Solemn Mass at 7.30pm followed by refreshments, and also the Torchlit Rosary Procession next Sunday (8th) at 7pm.
