On Sunday we started a new series looking at what it means to be rooted in Jesus in a city like London. Throughout this series we will look at the book of Daniel in the Bible.

We want our church and our lives to be built on the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
So, in 2026 we are encouraging people to use the YouVersion Bible app to read through the Bible in a year together.

To be part of the plan, click on the below link to find the Emmanuel YouVersion profile and make Emmanuel your church. You’ll then be able to see our Featured Plan for the year.

This plan will give us a reading from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs every day. We’ll also be sending out prayer encouragement videos via the app throughout the year.

Wow, what a way to start our Christmas week. Remembering the real reason we celebrate. Looking again to the Holy King Jesus who was and is and will come again.

Week one starts this Thursday 9 October, 7:30pm at 57 Banning Street SE10 0YH. It’s open to everyone so if you didn’t make it to our launch night we’d still love for you to come along this week.
