Our midweek programme is returning the week commencing Monday 7th September.

Monday, 10:00-12:30. Upcycling Project.
Tuesday, 9:30-11:30 Musical Tots, followed by toddler lunch space at 11:30,
Wednesday, 13:00-14:30 The Music Man Project.
Thursday, 11:00-13:00, Healthy Eating on a Budget Taster Session.
Thursday 14:00-15:00, Over 55s Exercise Class.

Our worship gathering takes place weekly at 11:00
Our charity shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00-16:00.

Our regular Music Man Project Hackney sessions are on a break over the summer. However, we'd love to invite our current members, as well as anyone interested in joining us when sessions resume in September, to a special Coffee, Cake and Karaoke afternoon.

Come along for a relaxed afternoon of coffee, cake, singing, and socialising. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new people who would like to find out more about the group before we return in September.

A polite reminder to those that donate to our shop. Please bring donations into our shop when we are open, and do not leave items outside.

We have no way of knowing if these items have been pulled about by animals, so it will all have to go in the bin.

Rather than supporting our work, donations left outside cost us both time and money. Please bear this in mind when making your donation.

We’re delighted to share that Hackney Mare Street Salvation Army was nominated for a 2026 London Dangoor Award.

Although we weren’t selected as an award winner, we’re honoured to be a recognised project in 2026 and will receive a certificate at the awards dinner in September.

The email stated, “Your work is a credit to London.” We’re incredibly grateful to whoever nominated us and to everyone who supports our mission and ministry.

A huge thank you to Kirstyn from Alma Autism for sharing her knowledge and experience, and to everyone who spent their Saturday with us. It was a day full of listening, learning, and really helpful conversations.
