📜🌏GRACE, MERCY, AND PEACE - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME🌏

📖....Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ... (2 John 1:3).
═══════════════
In several of the apostolic letters, the Spirit emphasizes a powerful benediction. For example, in some of Paul’s writings, he opens with the words, “grace, mercy, and peace, as in 1 Timothy 1:2, “...Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.” He repeats the same blessing in his second letter to Timothy and again to Titus.

The apostle John echoes it as well: “Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ...” (2 John 1:3). Why did the apostles consistently pronounce grace, mercy, and peace? It’s because of their profound importance in the Christian life.

The Scriptures reveal men and women who found grace in the sight of God. Noah, for example, found grace before the Lord even when judgment was determined upon the earth. Genesis 6:8 tells us, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” Grace positioned him for preservation and victory. This shows that when grace locates a man, mercy follows.

Grace, mercy and peace work together. Romans 5:1-2 connects our peace with God to the grace of Jesus Christ in which we stand: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand….”

When you find grace in God’s sight, He becomes merciful toward you. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Grace is divine favour extended to you. It’s God’s work upon a person’s life.

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word is “chen” and it means God’s gracious favour. Through that grace, through that act of divine favour, He exerts His influence upon your life to see to it that you succeed. His grace works upon your mind, helping you to think the right thoughts. It influences your heart and guides you to make the right decisions, beyond your natural ability or human intelligence.

Grace covers you, shields you, protects you, and keeps you from grave errors. Walk in this consciousness. You’re not left to your human ingenuity and ability alone; the influence of heaven is upon your life, directing your steps and causing you to produce results that exceed natural capacity. This is the life God has given you in Christ.

📜🌏💦CUT OFF SATANIC INFLUENCES - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME💦🌏

📖.....And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus (Acts 13:6).
═══════════════
Acts 13 gives us a clear picture of how Satan tries to resist the Gospel, especially when it’s about to reach those in positions of leadership. An example is seen in Acts 13:6 when Saul (Paul) and Barnabas went through the Isle of Paphos, preaching the Gospel. The proconsul, Sergius Paulus, whom the Bible describes as “a prudent man,” desired to hear the Word of God and sent for Barnabas and Saul (Acts 13:7). He wanted to know more about Jesus Christ.

But there was someone closely associated with him who wouldn’t let that happen; Acts 13:6-8 the Amplified Classic version reveals it: “When they had passed through the entire island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish wizard or sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. He was closely associated with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent and sensible man of sound understanding; he summoned to him Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God [concerning salvation in the kingdom of God attained through Christ]. But Elymas the wise man--for that is the translation of his name [which he had given himself]--opposed them, seeking to keep the proconsul from accepting the faith.” He resisted and tried to stop the leader from receiving the Word.

Then the Bible says, “…Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, and said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord” (Acts 13:9-10)? Paul wasn’t speaking by suspicion or emotion; he spoke by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He called him who he truly was: a child of the devil, an enemy of all righteousness.

Many world leaders have such people around them who distract them from the truth and keep them from hearing the Word of God. This is why we take our stand in prayer to cut off such influences from the leaders of nations. Every so often, in praying for the leaders of nations, governments and institutions of this world, declare that the counsels of the “Elymases” of this world are frustrated and silenced; cut off their influence from the leaders. Pray that all around the world, the hearts of presidents, kings, governors, lawmakers, and decision-makers are open to hear and receive the Word of God and the Gospel is producing results in their lives.

Pray also that the Spirit grants them discernment to recognise deception, and that righteous influences surround them, creating access for the Gospel to be preached, received freely, and spread rapidly all around the world. Hallelujah!

🗣️CONFESSION
═══════════════
The Word of God prevails in the hearts of leaders and decision makers across the nations today. Every satanic influence to resist the Gospel and turn them away from the truth is cut off by the power of the Holy Spirit. God’s wisdom and righteousness dominate the nations, and His truth is established without resistance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY📖= 1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

═══════════════
Acts 13:6-12 NIV They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, [7] who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. [8] But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. [9] Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, [10] “You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? [11] Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. [12] When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.

📜🌏“WHICH THINGS ALSO WE SPEAK” - PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME🌎

═══════════════
📖......Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:12).
═══════════════
One of the reasons the Holy Spirit came into your life is to help you know the things of God and make you conscious of what God has freely given to you. 1 Corinthians 2:11-13 explains this with striking clarity. It says, “…the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

Now, notice something absolutely remarkable in the 12th and 13th verses. There’re those who criticise Christians for speaking or confessing the Word, especially when it concerns prosperity, health, victory, or dominion in Christ. But their problem is ignorance of the Word. There’re only two directions: if you’re not proclaiming prosperity and health then you’ve endorsed lack and sickness. There’s no middle ground.

3 John 1:2 proves that God is interested in your complete prosperity: your material prosperity, and the prosperity of your soul: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Not only does the Holy Spirit reveal these and other amazing truths of your heritage and identity in Christ to you, He also teaches you to speak them.

Christianity is for talkers. If you don’t speak what God has given you, you’re not practising Christianity as revealed in Scripture. We talk our inheritance. We declare our identity. We profess our heritage. We boldly declare what we have and who we are in Christ. That’s the victory principle—saying what God has said: “…he hath said…So that we may boldly say…” (Hebrews 13:5-6).

As you keep saying what God has said, the realities of the Kingdom are manifested in your life. Therefore, declare your victory. Affirm your dominion. Speak your prosperity and health. Speak the Word boldly and watch your life go from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
═══════════════
🙏PRAYER
═══════════════
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who teaches me to speak the things you have freely given to me. My mouth is filled with your Word, and I speak boldly. I walk in victory, dominion and prosperity, and my life is transformed from glory to glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
═══════════════
FURTHER STUDY📖=> 1 Corinthians 2:11-13 AMPC For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. [12] Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God. [13] And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit].
═══════════════
Romans 10:10 KJV For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

═══════════════
2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

_Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit who lives in me in His fullness. I walk in the consciousness of His indwelling presence, and I manifest the power, boldness and authority of Christ everywhere. My life is vitalised by the same Spirit that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead, and I walk in the dominion, wisdom and victory of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._
