TEAR DOWN THAT IDOL;

'... THE LORD... IS A JEALOUS GOD.' (EXODUS 34:14).

God is jealous of anything that takes His place in your life, especially a 'relationship idol'.
You say Pastor, 'What's that?'
ANSWER: It's the lie that convinces you your happiness depends on another person.

When you look to somebody other than God for security, purpose, worth and contentment...... all the things God willingly provides.... He's jealous.

SO TEAR DOWN THAT IDOL! I mean whatever is taking the place of God in your life.

Yes, it's hard to have nobody to share your life with, or come home to. But when God wants you to hear His voice, sometimes He silence all the rest.

Has it occurred to you that you're alone, NOT because nobody likes or love you, but because God is drawing you to a deeper place of intimacy with Him?

'How can I know Pastor?' You ask.
ANSWER: JOSHUA was alone when God gave him the plan for conquering Jericho. John was alone on the island of Patmos when Heaven opened and he wrote the book of Revelation. The Bible says, 'Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak' (Genesis 32:24). That's when God changed his name from Jacob, a deceiver, to Israel, a prince with God.

When you don't know who you are and the purpose why you're here, you'll allow yourself to be swallowed up in somebody else's life in order to find worth and fulfilment. You'll think you need them in order to enjoy being you.

No, let your maker tell you who you really are. After all, who knows you better?

Always remember, Christianity is NOT a popularity contest. It's NOT about those who love you and those who hate you. It's not about how many are with you or against you. It's about He who lives and dwells in you.

The only way you'll discover your true IDENTITY, is by being alone with God! He sees your end from the beginning.

May you find and fulfilled His purpose in your life in Jesus name' Amen. SHALOM!!!

For reasons God never explains, He chooses to work through people like us. Many a time, He places us in difficault situations then unlocks our faith and creativity. Beloved, hear this, if the challenges you're facing doesn't place a demand on your faith, it neither pleases God nor involves Him. Don't pray for easy life, pray to be a strong person. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers; pray for powers equal to your tasks. And every day you shall wonder at yourself, at the richness of life which has come to you by the grace of God. GOD IS AT WORK IN ALL AND THROUGH ALL. HE'S FAITHFUL!

THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME:

For me and you ...there is one day appointed. It is a certain day.

The fact that this world is not our ultimate home explains why we experience difficaulties, disappointment and rejection.

It also explains why some promises seem unfulfilled, some prayers unanswered, and some circumstances unfair.

THIS LIFE IS NOT THE END OF THE STORY.

In order to keep us from becoming too comfortably attached to this world, God allows us to feel a certain amount of discontent-longings that will never be fulfill on this side of eternity.

So my beloved, don't get too attached to what's around you, because it's temporal. It will all vanished away that very moment the Angels of heaven beckons on us.

Live your life for God.

For this world as we know it will soon pass away. Watever you have, maximise it to fulfil God's purpose, but don't fall in love with it.

200 YEARS IS NOT FOREVER. Our journey here on earth started one day and it will come to an end one day.

To us who LIVE for Christ, death is not the end... it is the beginning of ETERNAL SPLENDOUR with God on the other side of eternity. Glory to God.

Be christ like always and in ALL WAYS.

May the Lord gives us the GRACE to run the heavenly race unto eternal Victory and Glory in Jesus name' Amen.

The ten brothers looked at Joseph and saw a useless dreamer!

The travellers looked at Joseph and saw a slave!! Potiphar looked at Joseph and saw a fine servant!!

Potiphar's wife looked at Joseph and saw a potential boyfriend!

The prison officers saw in Joseph a prisoner! How wrong were all of them!

God looked at Joseph and saw a Prime Minister of Egypt in waiting!!

Don't be discouraged by what people see in you today!!
Be encouraged by what God sees in you!!

Changing circumstances could lead to changed fortune.

He who is down today can be up tomorrow.

Never underrate the person next to you because you never know what the Lord has deposited in that person.

Your maid may be a Chief Executive Officer in waiting for a company which shall employ your child.

Your garden-boy may be a president in waiting. (Remember David got the anointing of becoming a King while he was a simple child herding sheep.

Esther was a simple orphaned girl yet she was a Queen in waiting).

TIMES AND SEASONS CHANGE, ...but not God!

Humans and their promises may change, ...but not our GOD!

Hear this my beloved friend, God can bring you through situations you think you won't survive, or feel you'll be stuck in forever.

He can make you comfortable in the most uncomfortable places, and give you peace in the midst of trauma and great difficaulties.

Before your life is over you'll live, love, and experience loss.

Losing somethings will actually help you to appreciate the things you still have. IT'S THE TASTE OF FAILURE THAT MAKE SUCCESS SWEET.

Whatever your case may be, God is there for you when everybody and everything else has failed you.

However long the night, morning always comes. No day lasted forever.

As you look back in your life you'll realise that God's GRACE protected you, provided for you, secured you, calmed you, comforted and brought you through.

Times and seasons change, but not our God. Your closest may abandoned you ...but not your God. He's ever faithful ...always at hand in times of trouble and in times of need.

In the rain, through the Cloud and Sunshine ...Help of the Helpless abides with us. And He abides with you till the very end unto eternity. He never forsake His own.

Whatever you're going through right now... I pray for you that the GRACE of GOD ALMIGHTY sustain you to your colourful DESTINATION in Jesus mighty name' Amen!.
