*Jeroboam was a terrible idolatrous king who embroiled Israel into abominable idol worship, and he built an altar dedicated to the gods. In order to execute judgment against Jeroboam's altar, God raised a man of God whose mouth he had filled with judgmental utterances against Jeroboam's evil altar. Such utterances are still needed today against evil altars that oppose the worship of God and people's wellbeing. As children of God and hence men and women of God, may God give us utterances against evil altars fighting against the worship of God, against our health, livelihoods, our households and destinies. We command such altars to be decapitated and rendered powerless, in Jesus' name.*
