Ever felt like you’re hiking through a dense fog, waiting for a breakthrough?

When climbing through a "cloud inversion," you often have to push past the cold, limited visibility of the valley floor before suddenly breaking out into warm, clear sunlight.

In leadership and life, spiritual breakthroughs often work the exact same way.

We often long for instant, high-impact results, a flash flood that clears the path. But as Alan Skene shares, God's idea of breakthrough is often an inversion of our own expectations.

If you are waiting on God for direction, clarity, or a breakthrough in your current season, this post is a powerful reminder that doing God's work in God's way is always worth the ascent.

How do we guard our hearts against cynicism in ministry?

In marriage, it's easy for the "business of family" to crowd out original passion if we forget why we fell in love in the first place. The exact same thing can happen in the church.

When ministry pressures, administrative tasks, or past disappointments set in, it’s dangerously easy to let cynicism erode our joy. But Jesus loved the church so much that He gave Himself up for her and He calls us to love His Bride with that same grace, patience, and hope today.

Whether you are a faithful member, an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher: Are we treating and speaking about the church the way Christ does?

In the latest blog post, "Love Me, Love My Church," Paul R Carley shares a timely message on finishing well, refusing to long for the "good old days," and choosing to rejoice in what Jesus is doing in His church today.

Let’s pray using Ephesians 3:14-19

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
